I believe xrp is currently in an expanding diagonal, currently in wave 5. It cannot be in a classic 5 wave impulse because we can see that wave 4 has crossed into the price territory of the peak of wave 1 which cannot happen in a classic 5 wave impulse. Therefore I think xrp should visit near the top of the trendline, perhaps even touching it, but I'd like you to note that 8 dollars also corresponds to a full 4.236 extension. Typically in expanding diagonal patterns, wave 5 can but usually does not reach out fully to the top trend line. I think after bitcoin shows strength again, xrp should move up rapidly as there really isn't much resistance besides 1.6 in the way to ATH and beyond.
