It looks to me like XRP is heading towards the crossing of my Big 1.618 fib circle and the smaller 4.618 line. Thus far, we have seen several pivot points occurring on the boundaries of these sets, so there's a high possibility that we hit a point on either of the two lines and pivot again, or possibly right at the juncture. That might not be too exciting of a prediction. But what I AM more interested in is, what happens after that?
XRP has shown some sort of independence from Big Brother BTC, but the direction we take once we hit the next pivot point will probably be influenced by the action of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin goes on a run, all of the alts could suffer. If Bitcoin experiences a major correction, money could flow back into the alts, OR, it could drag everything down, just as it has during the bear market.
It would surprise me if we saw a significant breakout before late fall, or winter of 2019. I'm hoping for an extended bear market, which will provide more of an opportunity to accumulate. But the downside is, it sure doesn't lend to the creation of any exciting technical analysis updates. In fact, this update is putting me to sleep. And I'm the one writing it.
