September?

Long

This is not trading advice!

You may know of the late Allee Willis, a colorful native Detroiter and creator of "September" by Earth, Wind & Fire and the theme song for the sitcom "Friends." Ethan Davidson said, "I don't care how cool you might think you are, but only Allee had Sammy's last stash."

During a visit to see Allee, Ethan described a moment during the visit:

She opened the box, and inside was Sammy Davis' last stash of weed, with a hand written note: "Dear Allee, hang onto my weed, Love, Sammy."

Do you remember
The 21st night of September?
Love was changin' the minds of pretenders
While chasin' the clouds away

Our hearts were ringin'
In the key that our souls were singin'
As we danced in the night, remember
How the stars stole the night away, oh, yeah

Hey, hey, hey
Ba-dee-ya, say, do you remember?
Ba-dee-ya, dancin' in September
Ba-dee-ya, never was a cloudy day
