Hello Traders! This is how I use COT DATA and analyze it. Commercials are normally right. Other groups trading forex are normally wrong.
How does Forex market work? As a trader, you decide if you would like to buy or sell. The broker finds someone who would like to do the opposite and they introduce the two of you. The broker then takes a small cut (spread) of the transaction price for arranging the connection. Foreign exchange is largest liquid market in world, but what does that mean? Has a daily...
On the 3rd of October, price formed a daily low and a 1h OB, leaving behind a 1h fvg and inducements right above the OB. Price rallies and broke market structure with a rally, reversed, then went into a consolidation on the 10th of October. Fomc news created spikes that took out buystops/liquidity resting above the consolidation range then also the sell stop...

The evidence suggests that only a very small proportion of day traders makes money year over year. There are certain patterns which may separate profitable traders from those who ultimately lose money. And indeed, there is one particular mistake that in our experience gets repeated time and time again. What is the single most important mistake that led to...
I hear many traders talking about gut feeling, especially when referring to very good traders. I hear them saying that you will, at some point, feel what the market will do next. Many explain it as a sixth sense or cannot it explain it at all. I say to them the explanation behind is a much simpler one. Gut feeling in trading, in most of the cases, is nothing else...

Now as of recently I have become submerged into Elliott wave theory. It helps me define order flow on a fractal level and with the implementation of certain other order flow concepts, I can then define the intent of order flow between sessions. Elliott wave is fundamental in understanding market structure. Impulses and Corrections are fundamental in driving...
As I discuss yesterday wide range of markets 16800-17500. The market opens way beyond our expected range. whenever this happens I wait. I was tempted to take a trade around 17270 to buy but couldn't execute and missed 50-60 points. however, aftermarket cross 17330, I start looking for sell. so I shot around 17325 with Sl 17350. and exit around 17200. now why...

What is a pattern of engulfing candlesticks? On a price chart, engulfing candlestick patterns consist of two bars. They are used to signal a market turn around. The second candlestick will be much larger than the first, covering or "engulfing" the entire length of the bar before it.
Hey All, We had some great feedback from our back to BENCHMARK strategy (see related post below) and wanted to share another simple strategy that I have been developing and using for many years that I call, Range Boxing. A term I thought was the perfect cliche of two words for this strategy. RANGE BOXING creates what we call a RANGE VIEW, A clear view for price...
Here's a chart of the relationship between building permits (which come out this week) interest rates, and recessions. When rates rise permits drop and recession follows. This week's building permit numbers could be are not likely to be good.
1. Pick your time frame. I prefer at least the H1, but H4 and D1 are stronger. 2. Look for volume spikes that line up with reversals or strong pauses. 3. Look for previous candle confluence 4. Drop range lines on a "best fit" level (READ: NOT EXACT!!!)
The market is mostly unnoticed and underappreciated by the public. "Smart" money begins to nibble up the supply. Building long positions without being noticed
Sorry guys, I didn't post today, but caught a cracker gold sell. I would like to give a small insight to how I look for sniper trades, especially in London open. If you look at the 2 red arrows, you will see that during New York yesterday, price made a high of the day at the 200ema, which acts as a resistance/support, in this case it is a resistance for obvious...
TMA is a wonderful indicator to trade when the market is flat and ranging so "Sell" when the price hit top bands, and "Buy" when hit down bands. But when the market is trending, then we trade with the trend, and use the TMA to trade the pullbacks.
Opening a position without setting a stop loss is a big mistake and it can be disastrous when buying the dip ! Here, we show a tempting setup to open a long position in rectangle (1) . It is of course OK to go long in this setup in the hope of catching possible up coming up going wave shown in green. But without setting a stop loss? Not at all ! Followings are...
