I think we can get a rapid selloff in USDCAD, given how volatile it is. I entered shorts on Friday with tight stops, and looking to add at market open. It also serves as a hedge against my other positions, short SEK and JPY. My currency positioning is as follows: long USD, AUD, CAD, short SEK and JPY. Fundamentals might create interesting opportunities, both long...
Having traded CL, GC, USDJPY I recognized similar movements into zones, I now wonder if they correlate in any way Price Pattern Trader - TradeEmpowered Analyzing the high timeframes 240min, 60min, 12range and executing in a trading timeframe 233Tick.
Crude is really worth nothing at this time. Bouncing up and down at free will...at lest it looks like. But if we give it a little context, then we can see behind the curtain a little more. The big picture (whole chart) shows the GAP, a strong up moving market within a huge down swing since 2015. Mid term (fork) we see price respecting the centerline of the fork...
Long entry at 65.92 with first target at 67.61
USDCAD might be topping against this level. We can go short at market, or on a break under Friday's low. Risk a new daily high initially. I'd risk 0.5-1% on the trade. Hold it for a week and see if it makes any progress. Good luck, Ivan Labrie.
Crude oil has been holding resistance at the supply zone just above $50 following a first wave, the correction moving the market sideways. We expect crude to complete a C wave of this correction and then encounter demand, sending the price upward. With this in mind, we are short term bearish and medium term bullish. We expect the demand rush after this corrective...
I'm in. Wait for breakout to hold on 15 min. chart
last time I published one of these spreads my last words was I would be rolling in to the next contract on the front side. I did not feel the need to publish this chart because it was already talked about. that roll happened at 2.08 and now trading 1.5. that is a return on invested capital of 75% in about 2 weeks
The idea is on the chart Perfect entry point would be 53.3x area Stop 53.6 Target 49.2x (C of 5 = 1.618 A of 5)
the further out in time we go the smaller the spread between front and back, so thinking the front to out 6 months should narrow so going to take a position on that idea
