US & Global Market Breakdown | Profits, Losses & Bearish TradesIn this video, I break down the current state of the US and global economy, and why I believe we’re heading into a bearish phase.
📉 Fundamentals:
I cover the key macroeconomic factors influencing the markets — including Trump’s proposed new tariffs, slowing GDP growth, and ongoing supply chain constraints. These all point toward increasing pressure on the global economy.
📊 Technical Analysis:
I go over the major indexes and highlight their recent behavior. We’ve seen reactions from resistance levels, contraction patterns forming, and a significant volume dry-up — followed by today’s spike in volume, which occurred right at resistance. These are potential signs that the market may be shifting toward a bearish trend.
That said, we could still just be witnessing a deeper pullback within a longer-term uptrend. Markets are unpredictable, and no one knows for sure — which is why it’s important to always do your due diligence.
💰 I also review the profits and losses I’ve taken on recent bullish trades, and why I’ve now positioned myself in select short opportunities based on what I’m seeing.
If I’m sharing this, it’s because I’m personally investing my capital based on my conviction — so always use your own judgment and risk management when making decisions.
If you found value in the breakdown, leave a like, comment, and subscribe for more timely updates.
Multi-Time Frame Analysis (MTF) — Explained SimplyWant to level up your trading decisions? Mastering Multi-Time Frame Analysis helps you see the market more clearly and align your trades with the bigger picture.
Here’s how to break it down:
🔹 What is MTF Analysis?
It’s the process of analyzing a chart using different time frames to understand market direction and behavior more clearly.
👉 Example: You spot a trade setup on the 15m chart, but you confirm trend and structure using the 1H and Daily charts.
🔹 Why Use It?
✅ Avoids tunnel vision
✅ Aligns your trades with the larger trend
✅ Confirms or filters out weak setups
✅ Helps you find strong support/resistance zones across time frames
🔹 The 3-Level MTF Framework
Use this to structure your chart analysis effectively:
Higher Time Frame (HTF) → Trend Direction & Key Levels
📅 (e.g., Daily or Weekly)
Mid Time Frame (MTF) → Structure & Confirmation
🕐 (e.g., 4H or 1H)
Lower Time Frame (LTF) → Entry Timing
⏱ (e.g., 15m or 5m)
🚀 If you’re not using MTF analysis, you might be missing critical market signals. Start implementing it into your strategy and notice the clarity it brings.

BTCUSD Price action analysis on HTFHi, I’m from Phoenix FX, and today I’ll be sharing my perspective on Bitcoin (BTC) price action based on the higher timeframes.
I’ll also give you my outlook on potential trade setups for today and tomorrow. Please remember that this is not financial advice—use this information as a guide only. If you find it helpful, don’t forget to like and share it with your like-minded communities.
Higher Timeframe Analysis
In my view, BTC tends to follow clear bullish and bearish cycle zones. Typically, we see a pump to new all-time highs (ATH), followed by the formation of resistance and a retracement down to a key support level. Our trading approach focuses on identifying those critical support and resistance levels, with some interim trades based on shorter-term analysis—occasionally even counter-trend, depending on the day’s market bias.
Over the past eight years, BTC has respected a major trend resistance line. The most recent ATH, around $112K, reconfirmed the relevance of this trendline. This makes it a valuable tool for projecting future ATH levels.
Looking ahead, I expect a move towards the $115K level in the coming weeks. This would likely act as a point of resistance, at which stage we might see a reversal and a drop back down to a key support zone.
Trade Setup
The chart I'm referencing highlights what I would consider the first premium buy zone, identified using a 4-hour Fair Value Gap (FVG).
The 50% level of this zone sits at $99,450. If this zone fails to hold, we may drop further to the secondary premium buy zone, which aligns with our higher timeframe (HTF) trend support and a weekly FVG. The 50% level of this deeper zone is around $89,150.
A potential long entry at $92,550, with a stop loss around $88,000, offers an excellent risk-to-reward (RR) ratio, targeting a move up to the $115K level.
Intraday Outlook
For today, I see bearish price action, with potential rejection around the $104,300–$105,000 range. Go short around the $104,750 to $105,000 zone
This could lead to a move down toward the lower key zones highlighted in the HTF analysis.
I recommend taking partial profits (TP) at every $1,000 increment and setting your stop loss to breakeven (BE) after hitting the first target.
Final Thoughts
Price action analysis is always subjective, so I’d love to hear your thoughts and ideas in the comments—each one, teach one.
Thanks for giving me some of your time.
From the Phoenix FX team, have a great weekend!

Educational Video: Nifty Outlook-How Technical analysis is done.We have tried to draw a parallel channel on Nifty hourly chart. The chart indicates that we are just below the mid channel line. The mid channel line will act as a resistance if the price is below the same and will act as a support if the price is above it. Right now it is acting as a resistance. Top of the channel always acts as a resistance and bottom of the channel always acts as a support. Additionally there are historic resistances and supports which indicate the other levels which may act as support or resistance. There are also Mother and Father lines (50 and 200 EMA)(EMA = Exponential Moving Average).
To understand in detail how parallel channel works or how supports and resistance are derived or what is Mother, Father and Small Child theory. I would recommend you my book The Happy Candles Way to Wealth creation. By reading this book you can understand all these concepts with ease. You can additionally understand what is fundamental and technical analysis and how to do it. You will also get to understand the dos and the don'ts of investment in equity by reading various chapters on Behavioural Finance. Overall it is a value for money book available on Amazon in Paperback and Kindle version. The book is also available on Google play book and other E-book stores. You can also contact us for getting the copy of it. The Happy Candles way is one of the highest rated books in the category and you can go through the reviews of the book on Amazon before purchasing it.
Based on Parallel Channel, Supports and Resistances, Mother Father and Small child theory resistances and supports of Nifty remain at.
Nifty Resistances Remain at: 24815, 24909, 24977, 25045 and 25116. The channel top resistance for the current parallel channel is around 25372.
Nifty Supports Remain at: 24780 (Mother Line Support), 24679 and 24537. The Channel Bottom support is currently around 24396. 24247 is the most important Father line support.
Shadow of the candles currently is neutral. Indicating Nifty can still go in any direction. A pennant like structure (Triangle is also formed). This indicates that Breakout or Breakdown of this triangle or pennant can take Nifty a long way on either side. Nifty is currently squeezing in the pennant with limited space. Usually when the space is limited a Breakout can happen in either direction.

GBPJPY TRADE UPDATE: Is the Bull Run Still On? | Reading CandlesGBPJPY TRADE UPDATE: Is the Bull Run Still On? | Reading Candles
In our latest video, we’re revisiting the GBPJPY trade setup shared earlier this week. With an entry at 188.813, a protective stop loss at 186.814, and a target at 195.170, this swing trade was built on a solid confluence of structure, price action, and momentum bias.
So far, price has respected the entry zone and is making a slow but steady climb. In the video, we break down what’s happening now, how the market reacted to recent news events, and whether the move still has enough steam to reach our target.

How to Use Renko Charts for Drawing Support and ResistanceHow to Use Renko Charts for Drawing Support and Resistance Like a Pro
Most traders rely on candlestick charts to identify support and resistance zones—but if you’re still sleeping on Renko charts, you’re missing out on one of the cleanest ways to map market structure.
Renko charts filter out noise and only plot price movement, not time, giving you a stripped-down view of market momentum. That’s exactly what makes them powerful for spotting true support and resistance zones—without all the clutter.
Why Renko Charts Work for Support & Resistance
Support and resistance are areas where price historically reacts—either bouncing or reversing. On traditional candlestick charts, these zones can be hard to identify clearly because of wicks, time-based noise, and volatility.
Renko charts simplify that.
Because Renko bricks are only formed after a specific price move (like 20 pips or using ATR), the chart naturally filters out sideways chop and lets key levels stand out like neon signs.
How to Draw Support and Resistance with Renko
Here’s a quick step-by-step process:
Set Your Brick Size
Use an ATR-based Renko setting (ATR 14 is common), or set a fixed brick size that fits your trading style. For swing trading, slightly larger bricks will work best.
Look for Flat Zones
Identify areas where price stalls or flips direction multiple times. These flat “shelves” on the Renko chart often line up with strong historical support or resistance.
Mark the Bricks, & Sometimes The Wicks
With Renko, you’re not dealing with traditional candlestick wicks. So your levels are based on the tops and bottoms of the bricks, not erratic spikes.
Check for Confirmation
If a level held as resistance and later flips into support (or vice versa), that’s a key zone to mark. These “flip zones” are often hotbeds of institutional activity.
Bonus Tip: Combine with Price Action
Renko charts tell you where price is likely to react—but combining them with price action techniques (like engulfing candles, pin bars, or M/W formations on traditional charts) will give you a lethal edge.
Use Renko to mark the zone, then switch to candlesticks to fine-tune the entry. Best of both worlds.
If you’ve been struggling to draw clean support and resistance levels—or find yourself second-guessing your zones—Renko might be your solution. It’s not about fancy indicators or chart tricks; it’s about removing the noise so you can trade what really matters: structure and momentum.
Are you using Renko in your strategy? Drop a comment or shoot me a message—I want to hear how it’s working for you.
USD remains weak across the board. EUR, GBP & JPY Bullish. Not much action due to the extended market break and Easter weekend but I expect more USD selling across the board in the coming weeks ahead.
Long positions are sitting tight but two areas I am keeping an eye on are 1.1200 as a base support and 1.1500 as the resistance hurdle we need to clear in order to open up the gates to 1.2000+
GBP/USD is still a bullish case for me as the short term resistance may be cracking and I'm still expecting for the JPY to advance against the USD.
It's good to get a break from the market volatility but I surely expect it to resume in the coming week!
Good Luck & Trade Safe!
