Good stuff.

I have an indicator request I think might be quite easy for you. Can you make an indicator so that the the candle draws a certain colour, say black, if it crosses a moving average, otherwise draws as it normally would? Definition of cross is when Open is Higher than MA AND Close is Lower than MA. Thx.

Added your request in to the Indicator at this link...defaults to yellow. https://www.tradingview.com/v/OQs2lVvr/#tc75328

This version fixes one small bug I found and adds a Highlight Bar option if price is Crossing MA 1 or MA 2. I set that as a Check Box Option with default color set to yellow. (Only plots if Price Crosses MA, doesn't plot in Gap Situation)

Hi Chris- just a quick question. Is it possible to write a TTM Squeeze indicator like this one featured in the video?I surely would like one:) Thank you and very appreciate your work http://www.tradethemarkets.com/products/item5.cfm

It is possible....I've been a Trade The Markets subscriber for about 10 years...John and Hubert didn't invent the squeeze so I posted a Indicator that gives the same results...but since they did create the squeeze indicator that looks the way theirs dose....I don't feel it's right to post that exact version out of respect for John and Hubert...I hope you understand...

Plus sometime not too far off TV will be offering Real Time Futures....at that time I'm going to talk to those guys about putting all their indicators on this platform...

Shouldn't this script Highlight for example Monday with 1 color if it's an upday and with another color if it's a down day instead of highlighting all day's with same color?

You can code a Bar Color with any rules you like. I'm not following your question. If your referring to Daily bars...I recommend hollow candlesticks...that way you can highlight Mondays for example with a specific color...and if it's a Hollow candlestick you know it's an up day...and solid would = down day.

If your referring to Intra-Day candles...this is slightly more difficult because if your highlighting one day then it would be easy to assign two different colors....but if your highlighting all 5 days with different colors...then creating a rule like that would require 10 different colors...and looking at 10 different colors in my opinion would be difficult to easily memorize when looking at charts.

The purpose of this code...is two things:
#1 to be able to highlight a daily bar a specific color to visually see if there is a historical trend for that day...again using Hollow Candlesticks lets you know if it is up or down.

#2 to be able to get a quick snapshot of Intra-Day bars by day of the week.

The code accomplishes both of those purposes. Your more than welcome to modify the code any way you like. If you have a specific question about how to code it to accomplish specific criteria...feel free to leave another comment and I will show you how.

Is it too hard to apply some kind of code that gives a certain highlighted color on the entry candles for your custom scripts? I mean, let's say that on your custom scripts a certain strategy play's itself out, on that instance, you would get a highlighted candle that determines the entry candle?

Yes and No....It's not hard...however Pinescript needs to have the capability to code "Strategies", and currently it does not...but it will in the future. I should have a video up on TradingView's blog tomorrow showing some cool features that are coming.

Check out this chart I just posted...I've posted a few with "Signals" like this. When you look at the chart you'll see the bars paint based on a certain criteria being met....and the lower indicator plots crosses in at the same Vertical axis. That is currently as close as we can get.

I've seen some codes where the script identifies certain candlesticck patterns and highlight's them when the event occurs. This is what I meant, I mean, soemtimes the indicator show's your trade setup, but the exact entry candle is very confusing.

That's easy to create a paint bar based on a indicator criteria...

Installed into my Favorites yesterday. After running 13 months I was surprised at the day of week which had the most 'Up' days. For my issue it was Wednesday by far, followed by Friday, then Thursday. Monday and Tuesday weren't worth getting out of bed for. Thanks.
