short opportunity for NYSE:HSY ?
NYSE:HSY looks like a great short opportunity to me for the following reasons:
- Apparent stage four decline (stage analysis)
- Bear flag chart pattern on all time frames, especially longer-term.
- Fibonacci confluence.
Why not have both ? Eat the chocolate and make the profits , haha?
Wait for it or nibble some when it breaches the resistance at 193.53 or wait for it to fall further to the support level at 174.58.....

It has come down more than 33% from its peak and the staggering high cocoa price has not help in the share price at all.
Support zone (buying zone) is around 170-183 price level which I will start buying slowly.

I beleive this is a Buy! Consistent Increased Revenue, Gross Profit, and Net Income since 1985.
They broke out of this price point in late 2021, and now have came back down to a double bottom.
Hitting 200MA on the weekly chart coinciding with Fib 0.618.
Big time oversold to date. X'mas is just around the corner giving some boost to Hershey sales.
I would start accumulating this stock and hope for a strong rebound from here.
This may not work, because the 200 week SMA seems like the best support in this scenario...
HOWEVER, we have massive bullish divergence on the MACD, the RSI is oversold and also starting to diverge, were at a reasonable support, and the rest of the market is rallying.
ALSO - cocoa futures and sugar may have topped, i think this helps here...
With long term support broken, I am leaning on HSY testing equilibrium unless immediate sellside liquidity holds. Such a quality name, so it is very difficult to short but at least I am not going long yet!
