prediction since the 4hr engulfing candle off 18.50
Posted my views on silver many times. With some fib and price action targets. Also the 610 day EMA.
Getting close now. Probably the neatest chart I've ever made. Targets are clear. Would be shocked to see it get above 26.10 for a sustained period of time, in 2014. If we see those levels I will likely, but only if we see resistance candles. Anything is possible, it could slice through it like butter. But I expect 25 to breakout to get people to long this...
You keep your bitcoins, I'll keep my silver. Sold in late 2012 above $30/oz and bought back my position at $21 (core position scale in) and $18.75 after Christmas (core 2nd position as well as tight stop leveraged paper longs) The beauty of limit orders, you don't miss out on the good prices. ;)
Looking to get long in the low 30s/high 20s on supportive price action.
Based on technical analysis and FED forward guidance to 2016.
One of the safest markets you can be a part of to the long side. Just get the entry right as usual. Even if you don't have the best of timing, patience will pay off in the long run. Target 100 on inflation fears. Even 125. Then don't be surprised to see a global deflation/deleveraging unlike anything seen in 2008. Wait for the FED signal of course (multiple rate hikes)
I don't really need to say much here do I? INX/XAGUSD This is how many ounces of silver it takes to buy the SPX. I figured the trend would continue by Q2 2014. I just did not it expect it so soon in the year. Almost 100 ounces of silver to buy the SPX? NO THANK YOU. I'll become interested around 75 again.. and that's a big IF. It will require a lot of basing...

(hi mods, please delete the other XOM chart i posted, i forgot the 2.00 extension, thank you) I'd error on the side of this being a breakout, despite the divergence we are seeing. Divergence can take a while to play out. On a monthly chart with a very long stochastic (55 periods), it could take a couple years even. Why I favor bulls? Japanese and emerging market...
Made this chart along side the other but forgot to post it. When will the shackles be removed? How is it that the SP500, who's market cap is 750x greater than Silver's, doesn't seem to have any problem with "corrections?" I mean honestly, how much cash on the sidelines can there possibly be? Global equities (all indexes combined) are already at RECORD market cap...
PLEASE DELETE THIS CHART, keep the 2nd one I posted. The 2nd one has the appropriate zoom ratio. When will the shackles be removed? two paths -- 2014 1) Bull to start 2014 and grind higher and close the year around $25 2) Bear to start 2014 where it will see no lower than $14/oz, then it will see a fast and sharp recovery to the $20 level and grind higher the rest of the year. 2015 1) Continue higher into $32-$35 range where we find resistance and close the year somewhere around $27-$28
Waiting for the top, risk 50 pips to make 1000-3000 sounds good to me.
Short USDTRY for carry. Stay small and cost average up towards 2.25. I don't see it going higher than 2.25 without a substantial correction. This currency has lost 50% of its purchasing power vs USD in 4 years. Incredible. Preference is for longs but only when trading with the trend, which means wait for it to come down from bubble territory before looking to...
Short to start the year, then bullish breakout of 1.3890 heading for significant resistance 1.44-1.46 possibly 1.49 but unlikely
Unlike many others I believe the USD can stabilize over time. A strong currency is meant to neither gain value long term, or lose value long term. It is supposed to have cycles of overvalued and undervalued, at least vs other currencies, but perhaps not vs physical assets of real demand and intrinsic value. Yes, I realize that no fiat currency in history has ever...
