$AMC is fundamentally trash, while they managed to raise a lot of cash by diluting their share base, from 100 million shares to over 500 million shares, this extra cash is only slowing down their inevitable fall. They are expected to keep losing money in the foreseeable future which will continue to burn their 1.6 billion cash they have left. Their balance sheet is a mess with 1.8 billion in negative equity. Virtually the only way to raise money for them is more dilution.
The CEO and virtually every other insider in management has been dumping their shares are quickly as they can, they are sold over 800,000 shares so far in 2022 ( approximately $16 million worth ). Between all of management and directors they only hold around 500,000 shares now which they likely will continue to sell at these elevated prices.
Even if they could turn profitable again their value would at most be worth $1-$5 a share
Don't think you are screwing over wallstreet by buying the stock, your just handing management million of dollars. How's the short squeeze going to work if management keeps dumping all their shares? They are working against you and using you to cash out of this sinking ship.
