Bitcoin fails to defend a 17 000$ pricetag

Overnight, Bitcoin failed to defend a 17 000$ price tag as it dropped below 16 800$. The price remains choppy, and not much has changed within the past few days. Therefore, we continue to be bearish and maintain our price targets at 15 000$ and 13 000$. We will update our thoughts once new developments take place.

For the past week, volume declined, with the price going sideways. That hints at the exhaustion among buyers and raises our caution. To support the bearish thesis, we would like to see a continuation of selling pressure accompanied by a pick-up in volume.
