This is where we stand

Long
COINBASE:BTCUSD   Bitcoin
The next 2 weeks will be telling as we will establish a new bottom edge on our launchpad. Big names with Big money have been eyeing BTC particularly since the whole Tesla thing. Smart investors don't jump in when they read “BTC Reaches New All Time High!!!” they know they need to pick a smart entry point. Musk may regret his tweet today but he didn't cause this, it was inevitable consolidation. Prices can’t run out of control like they have forever. This is our opportunity to BUY! Like our pandemic and the ripple effect it has, this moves in waves too. Depending on what happens next we could see weeks of sideways movement, or somebody new will enter and announce a major contribution, via purchase/offering a service or almost anything else that pushes it toward the mainstream. Don't forget BTC is hardly out of its infancy and I am still walking my friends through how it works, even how to buy it. 28 year old, $250k making, stock trading, computer engineers not understanding how to open and fund a binance account shows me we have a long way to go before it's mainstream. (Yes I told them to use Gemini or Coinbase!) Anyhow I am confident we have fallen out of price discovery for the near but it will only last as long as it takes for another thing/ investor to turn this again. More stimulus = BTC +$ and that's not going away. The reality is this pandemic and its fallout will last years to decades. Wouldn't it be smart to buy and hold as many BTC as possible and wait? If you don't need the cash, owning just .001 btc today won't be a life changing amount next year but I bet will be worth more than it is today. On average you can double your money every 6 months, but it's not as linear as that and you likely need to hold for a couple years at least. In Dec 2018 when I bought BTC at $3800 it took months to turn solid green, 2.5 years later I look back like that was so smart to hold onto. I thought it would take 10 years to get this far. Each day progress is made. It is not a threat to the USD, It is used for criminal activity far less than US cash, it’s biggest flaw at the moment is energy consumption. I believe this is a temporary flaw that will lead to 2 things, more efficient miners and drive us toward a clean renewable electric future. Wouldn't it be nice to step into a city one day when the plague passes and stand behind an electric bus that doesn't belch black soot at you!? Yeah that dream is likely still 15+ years out but if they buy some coins today the city will be plenty funded. My point is this is here to stay! Growing pains are temporary but still a major part of how it works. Likely the part Mcafee missed when placing his price predicting national tv sausage eating bet. We all had a good laugh at him, he even had himself incarcerated to avoid the humiliation. (lol just kidding, but maybe not) When these guys with a stack of cash want to sway a market the can and do, ex GameStop. Hedge funds, companies like Tesla and Grayscale can afford to keep buying the cheap coins when they value them over $100k this year. Each one they buy today in one year could be worth twice as much. I keep saying 100K though price predictions are nuts, some over 500K this year, idk it's just a prediction, but it's not my or your prediction, it's people who get paid to make that and are backed by millions or billions. It's not like more coins are coming, more just keep getting locked away, the pool shrinks and more people realise they should have bought even if it was just the .001 of a coin. We got a break after crossing 50K, a second chance before we head to 70K-120K. When the next wave will begin I can't say. I can't even guarantee it won't take farther slips. I always tell my friends entering start with a small amount or half of what you want to invest. If in a week it falls, BUY more! And get it on your ledger so you're not tempted to sell in a wild price swing up or down. Also it is much more secure than an exchange! This is 2021 hacking is real and BTC is valuable. Good luck!
