Bitcoin -- Bullish signs and why we won't see 5k before 13k

Long

BITFINEX:BTCUSD   Bitcoin
Bull divergence beginning to show on 4hr chart with oversold stoch on all timeframes over 1HR... setup for explosive movement with tight BBands across higher TFs as well.

Pack your bags.
Comment:
Stops just got ran but still in good shape for now.... look for 4hr candle to close above 8175.

Comment:
Bulls are still holding the the wedge and divergence.

If we can hold and bounce here I expect breakout now.

Close above 8200 on the daily would be very good sign for the bulls.

Comment:
Sub 8k stops were sweeped. Seems market maker really wanted those stops.
Comment:
Wedge being respected.

We are testing the resistance line, no breakout volume as of yet.

Seems bitcoin could pullback to the 8000-8100 again but I'm not expecting 7800.

This is a good place to hedge a short if you have gotten a good entry near the local bottom.

I expect some red today/tomorrow and a breakout come Monday.

Stay safe out there!

Comment:
Looks like retrace is starting.... I'm liking .786 for an add to long.

Comment:
Everyone wants 7800 so won't be surprised if it doesn't happen.
Comment:
Bitcoin broke out of the wedge.

Unfortunately it is Sunday and we have left the pattern with low volume.

If we don't see some increased volume with this move come Monday I will be taking some profits early.

Good luck everyone!

Also consider opening a Bitmex account using my ref link if this idea proved profitable for you =)

Took some profits and hedged a short.

Looking like we may retest 8k.

Looking at a 15 minute head and shoulders and a fractal on the hourly + hidden bear div.

We need to make a higher low otherwise this idea is invalidated IMO.

Trade safe!
Comment:
Covering some short/taking some long back here.

Bear flag failed to swing below the 8270 level and reach it's target.
