Yes this really happened.! and it was probably the worst bull trap in history at least in a major index notes haw the 50 day moving average crossed back above the 100 day and stayed above it for some time before the big drop. the 1937 stock market crash happened not long after the infamous 1929 crash that kicked off the great depression and what took so many people by surprise was that it happened just when things looked like they were getting better. one can't help but notes the similarity between this story and 2008 through now. I'm not saying this is going to happen today but it's good to learn from history because it tends to repeat itself every once and a while.
