If the second leg is the same length as the first, the answer appears to be Jan 31st.
No big short plays until Feb I guess.
Comment:
Everything I see says we get a little weakness here then another up move next week. Not sure if the market tanks, but Feb should be relatively weak and easier to short.
- small caps basically double topped, and the last time it waffled aroud for 2 weeks before rolling over
- my chart above says Jan 31
- Jan 2018 rally went to the end of the month
- GS, HD, and other Dow components all look like they want to double top
Of course there's a chance that I'm wrong and we hit the top today, but it's best to keep short plays small until Feb. Futures look weak right now but they'll pump it again as soon as MFI goes oversold which will probably happen by Tuesday. That may be the final leg, watch the indicators.
