Indicators show no direction, no direction for tomorrow's gap either.

I'm hoping TSLA misses and MFI goes oversold tomorrow. Note that I said hoping, much like NFLX, I don't think it moves enough to cover options premium.

Market does appears to be melting up though. I'm just not very bullish on TSLA earnings. Just pretty much repeating what I said about NFLX yesterday, lol.
Comment:
Well, with that pump, NQ indicators are now neutral as well. Makes sense since NQ indicators hit oversold yesterday. Buying AAPL or QQQ calls at open would have been the play of the day, too late now.

TSLA is a much bigger component of APY/QQQ than NFLX, so I don't recommend a long position overnight unless you;re bullish on TSLA earnings (which I am not)
Comment:
If you're bearish on TSLA earnings, GM puts would be a cheaper play. Only 45 cent premium for ATM puts. If TSLA misses I would expect GM to go down a buck, which means 100%+ profit.

Might do a beer money bet with 10 contracts...
Comment:
Probably should have gone long on XLF (financials), NFLX and TSLA earnings have no bearing on that sector.

Speaking of which I'm still bearish on cryptos and gold, they popped up on the bank tank, and still have not dropped that gain. I expect BTC to head down to 27K even in a bull scenario. Gotta set up that bear trap like last time.
Comment:
Note: I decided to throw my beer money bet on next week's BITO (BTC) puts instead of GM. Just lightly in case it recovers the drop like it did yesterday.... at which point I can add a whole bunch.

Bearish on crypto until the Fed meeting.
Comment:
TSLA options premium isn't terrible, but I still think your best bet for a double or nothing is GM options.

Appears that I'm not the only one bearish on TSLA. Market appears to be looking at a flat finish, I said whipsaw this morning, lol.
Comment:
Of course, I have a better than 50% chance of being right on any day by saying whipsaw, lol. Seems that's what the market is doing lately. Tough to trade, almost impossible to hold anything more than a day.

I'm up a couple grand this week on the Monday afternoon/Tues open pump and dump. Not enough to gamble on TSLA earnings, though I did throw some beer money into BITO (BTC) puts.
Comment:
TSLA operating margin down to 11.4% vs 19.2% same quarter last year, if it was any other company it would have sank 15% in the first 5 minutes.

In any case, red as expected, down 5 , just enough for put holders to break even, lol.

Automotive industry is historically a low margin business, usually negative during a recession. GM has single digit P/E ratio, TSLA is at 50. TSLA would have to go down to 25 to get that low.

Market can;t let TSLA tank until ES1! gets the gap fill, I;m guessing. Then the game is over.
Comment:
Down 11 bucks now. Ignore that HKEX:5, I typed down 5 bucks and it changed to a ticker symbol, lol. I guess there was money to be made on TSLA puts after all, 50% return, probably dips down enough to get 100% return tomorrow.
Comment:
NOTE: THERE IS AN OPEN GAP AFTER THE 1 HOUR BREAK.

If it doesn't fill overnight, good chance tomorrow winds up being a repeat of today, just more whipsaw. Regardless, I was right to tell everyone not to hold a long position overnight, not worth the heartburn.

Sticking to my trading scheme, will wait until MFI goes oversold to buy the dip. I'm not making a ton of money, but at least I'm making money.... so far, lol.

More earnings next week, I think META beats because they're running a lot of scam ads on FB again. Someone needs to start a class action lawsuit, they could easily screen ads like they do with posts. I'm getting scam ads for guns, that's against their own policy so you know they don't screen ads at all.
Comment:
Also, TSLA is a good short for any day you expect NQ1! to go down. It's toast and headed down below $100 eventually. Can't tell you when and how, but it will. Way overpriced for an auto company, and you guys know that's my sector....
Comment:
TSLA puts would have returned 100%, GM over 175% on open.

RTY went overbought, I do not recommend going long today
Comment:
Well I said 15% yesterday, TSLA now down 9.5%. If anything I should've shorted ARKK, lol. I was bearish on BTC and TSLA, Cathie loves TSLA and COIN.
