Potential for ETH to go back down to LOW 100s- maybe even double digits, before a significantly large rally similar to 2017 Bull run.
ETH gains compared to BTC are much more appealing too. BTC currently sits at 8600 and needs to rally 2.3x to reach its past all time high of 20k.
ETH currently sits at 163 and needs to rally over 8X!! to reach its all time high of 1400. I do believe we will see ETH at those rangers in the future, but when? Only time and the markets decide.
For me ETH has such great potential with the amount of devs on the platform. ETH really needs to bring out DAPs that are used everyday by the average Joe, not just a crypto fanatic. Many different things can be built on top of Ethereum such as video game items that have real world value, lending platforms for loans, escrow payments on digital goods and services, tokenizing real world items, fraud prevention, authentication of goods and more.
Recently Nike has recently created a system to put shoes on the Ethereum blockchain to authenticate shoes. This is helpful for many different reasons. It lets you know that the pair of shoes that you have is a legitimate pair, it also makes it easier for people to buy and resell their shoes after they have purchased them. RFID tags are implemented into the shoe and the ID cannot be changed. I really do hope Ethereum succeeds as a blockchain, the use cases have such high potential, its just waiting on the right App or tool to be created for the masses.
