short term ETH profits target at 1500ish & SBF in Cuffs
Id look to take profits around 1500 maybe just below depending on trade action. if pumping just let it ride but if its a struggle to claim that level look to get out for a scalp and re buy.
the other side of this coin is if we dont see a continued uptrend here we could very easily re visit that 1100 block.
For the longer term trader (not day trading) you could ride this out and cost average if we drop while setting long term profits for that 1800 level and even up from there if you want to buy and forget (which i dont recommend, volatility is incredible in crypto so taking advantage of these scalp opportunities at least now and then is crucial for sustained strong profits) Those 5% and up scalp re buys add up fast. You can turn your position into a 10x on tokens accumulated even in a down trend. (On ZKSpace on their layer2 DEX the native token ZKS has been in a perpetual freefall like many alts in the bear market. Even with the price bottoming from 10usd down to a few dollars then 1usd down to under .10 cents i turned about 1500 tokens into 30,000 plus tokens. This is all from scalping as she went down. Now if the asset never rebounds, which is likely for many ALT projects, most are one pump and done, then I will never recoup much value here, but if she does game on.)
Now with BTC and as most would now agree ETH are here to stay. Scalping these assets is a no brainer. I know we cant all be on the sticks all the time but there is enough liquidity and enough places to swap BTC and ETH you can set buy and sell orders. Just pick a likely number and go a bit below or above this target. Another tip is dont choose numbers everyone else will. Lets say you want to target 1800 for ETH set your sell orders at 1791.98 or something like that. for my buy orders if she dumps id look to scoop from 1100 down to 750s (for the more active day trader stop loss at 1100 give or take depending on risk profile acceptable for that individual).
My goals next run are #1 dont spread myself to thin. dont buy to many positions esp on multiple platforms. Accumulate mostly BTC and ETH with an ALT pump and dump know and then. In this case when I see the market turn to TRUE BULL ill take some ALT positions on a good "RED DAY". from there target 15 to 30 percent gains and repeat but always take profits and always trust your reads. Dont swap just to swap, even if the plan is goofy or vague and prone to change at least try and keep a semblance of a plan and try to stick to it.
Final note and more for those newer to crypto and or ALTs. When I first got involved everything sounded amazing and revolutionary but as I progressed I realized without basic roads connecting to the mainstream apps etc we use today these are simply good ideas that have no real lasting utility. Ask yourself, who would use this project, how complicated is it, would you need to understand crypto at least a bit to navigate this project. Does it link up with current tech already in daily use or at least have plans to. IE is this more then just a fad or good idea with-in this network?. If not thats ok but you need to know the difference. Like Uniswap holds lots of liquidity and offers the ability to somewhat anonymously swap ALTs with no KYC (Know Your User) requirements. Theta is a streaming service, how hard is this to use, etc etc etc. Then you have harder to quantify utility, more an idea thats waiting to link up with mainstream tech in some way. these projects are much harder to evaluate as its basically utility walled off to that projects features and the ETH blockchain. A good example of this would be Trust swap, basically a new project launch incubator and pear to pear trading platform among other features. These heavy utility hitters that are walled off by the ETH garden will be the big gambles ie who will be there when the dust settles. I like to see what projects are trying to every day attempt to connect with mainstream ideas and tech in any way they can while increasing the user friendly features so anyone can navigate these "new age apps".
Total ramble here but important to think about if you want to tell your self this project is the next BTC ETH whatever... stop and ask yourself. would my grandma use this one day if x y and z. Does this project create true value in some way. It can be entertainment to swaps even art but without some lasting effect that is needed or wanted these projects are subsidized hype, one and done.
Remember most ALTs are ETHEREUM based or on the ETH blockchain... If you do want to put a toe in the ALT game. Maybe stick to established blockchains. this is the current tech all alt projects get built on. From ADA to DOT ALGO BNB AVAX even SOL and MATIC are blockchains like ETH. You have a higher chance of finding some lasting utility with an entire network then just one aspect or project on that network.
The name of the crypto game at present is "cross chain" this means having blockchains exchange value and information safely from one blockchain to another or and established apps and tech already in mainstream use. (SEE LINK and BAND for Oracles and then cross chain for me and most its one project COSMOS ATOM token. The majority of crypto hacks or exploits happen when value is moving cross chain. these on and off ramps and crypto highways need to be built out so they operate safely. Thats the problem with ETH and other blockchains. You can do all this amazing stuff within that system. but communicating outside those walls in any way is difficult and usually needs some centralized actor that asks for ID and other information. MY OG point is dont invest in everything and anything because it all is pretty incredible. just pick your spots like a fighter and stick and move.

Thank goodness and not a second to soon, he was arrested the day b4 he was scheduled to testify to some crypto committee where he could have continued to pander for favoritism. HAVE FUN IN THE FEDS SBF but again ill believe it when I see it. He could start by releasing the remaining FTX funds that went missing hours b4 they declared BK, I dont care if he pretends to know this "so called random hacker" just hold him by the ankles and see what pennies fall out his vegan drug addict pockets.
