Fundamental factors aside, gold is in my opinion at an obvious area of accumulation OR distribution, based primarily on the current price action relative to the past.
Factors which will affect golds price path over the next few months include macro economic factors such as the strength of the dollar, a looming recession and how commodities as a whole react due to the aforementioned.
Gold and precious metals along with bonds will likely be the main hedges in portfolios bracing for the worse.
