But that was the first irony i came across, and their living up it. There's no malice, just tongue in cheek.

May 2018, DFINITY announced plans to distribute around $35 million worth of DFINITY tokens in an airdrop. It was part of the company's plan to create a "Cloud 3.0." Because of regulatory concerns, none of the tokens went to US residents.

Don't be fooled by what appears to be a resistence forming. Even whales aren't dumb enough to watch you cut losses on their re-entry to a perceived bottom. So if your wondering why it never held value despite being a $909 ATH upon listing on Coinbase... you have to understand. It private saled at 0.75 .... the value is grossly over appraised. Most ppl don't do the volatility deductions, and it can be had for much cheaper. Dfinity or dumping infinite icp shouldn't be surpised.
Next time someone does the technical analysis, ask about the fundamentals to support their position.
