CDNX junior market is bubbling and wants to move. I recently took profits in some of my bigger mining names. Although they are great companies and i'm sure they will be worth a lot more in the near future, one of my rules is "never get married to any investment" !!
I feel we are entering a major market downturn and i am doing great on my VIX long ETFs and this is one of the reasons i am lightening my position in major stocks. I feel that the coming market downturn will hurt all stocks including precious metals majors. Why? Margin calls of course. This is why ive just done a major rebalancing moving funds from majors into undervalued juniors that havnt really budged yet. Im sure there are gigantic moves ahead in both juniors AND majors and intermediates but as is well known juniors outperform in a real precious metals bull market which i firmly believe we are in now. Yea i hate to sell some of my top performers... but i will buy them back again ... who cares. There are literally a ton of junior miners that will not get affected by a market downturn and these are the issues i am concentrating on right now.

Well that was a horrible call wasnt it... lol. I still believe the juniors will rock after this correction is over though.
