$MU: Buy on dips, yearly uptrend active...

NASDAQ:MU   MICRON TECHNOLOGY, INC.
$MU is now cash positive, doing great progress in containing debt and investing in CAPEX. They have a significant advantage in the NAND space and are investing heavily in it. Very good valuation here, and trending up, an easy buy for the long term.

Cheers,

Ivan Labrie.

Support held, bad news still being absorbed by the buyers, as sellers unload for a couple more days.
Trade closed manually:

I'm taking profits here, rebuying on dips in 3 days or so.
Comment: Haven't bought back after selling recently. My last buy back attempt was not too good, as technicals deteriorated, specially relative strength. Flash memory prices trending down still. Trading its toll on this stock and $WDC. both look promising and cheap but act a bit like commodities. Need to time the cycles.
Hi and thank you for your research and opinion.

MICRON is a screaming BUY at current prices.

As for the price of memory, hard drives etc.. consumer purchases of memory and SSD drives are a drop in the bucket compared to the money big corporations are spending and will continue to spend as they continue to build out the cloud.

Wall Street brokers / analysts have no clue about technology and never will. Just look at the outrageous stock prices of garbage companies whose stock prices are being pushed to levels only seen during the dot com market crash.

Micron products power-up over 75% of every computer / network Worldwide.

Investors have approximately 3 weeks before Micron stock starts moving up to the $75 to $80 level.

If you are sitting back waiting for a few point swing before buying, you are absolutely going to miss the next huge run up in the stock.

This is just my opinion.

I wish everyone the very best with all their trades!

Hello! You wrote "act a bit like commodities". What are the features of a commodity charts for you? How is that different from stocks?
Thank you!

@xiiimik, they are bound to the fate of specific commodity prices, in this case the flash memory price trend. This trend might make the stock fall despite their positive fundamentals.
