This year has been exciting for the NAS100 so far as it is giving clear indications on what it is doing as it relates to market structure.
We know that the master trend is HL/HH's on the biggest time frame and as such the market is doing the necessary moves in order to complete the next round of HL's.
However with the H4 rejection signaled on January 11th on the H4 candle, the market has shifted it's focus to completing the next round of Highs (LH, High or HH) on the H4 timeframe which will translate all the way to the 23 hour candle which currently sits at a LH.
What is clear is that since the market made it's historic high on Thursday December 23rd and diving to the lowest point so far for 2024 made on Friday January 5th, it has been climbing since then with periods of consolidation in an effort to complete the H4 type of high.
With that being said, my bias is a continuation from last week where I am trading the HL's to the HH's until the H4 has completed it's type of High so that the sells may continue.

So with the market opening for a USA shortened session we look towards the London session for confirmations for the day's move.
Volume will definitely be down and there may be periods of volatility spikes so be sure to trade wisely.
Price is doing what it is commonly known for doing at the beginning of the week....Consolidate between the previously created zones on Friday.
A clear break and retest will give strong confirmation for the early moves being offered this week.
It is only the first trading day of the week so absolutely no rush. The moves always get bigger towards the end of the week, so exercise patience and trust your analysis.

All through Asian session and now into the London session, I am still seeing signs of expected consolidation and I expect that it will continue especially since today is a low volume day with New York offline due to the holidays.
So far we have only managed a M45 HL
However, current structure always plays out even when you have considerable amounts of consolidation.
I will continue to trade structure until there is an indication of that break.

As mentioned in my previous entry...Today I was not expecting much in the way of movement as the volume was down due to the Martin Luther King holiday.
With the market opening at 6:00 pm EST, I will expect the price to start taking structure and making up some ground as we continue to the London session.
