You wake up and see you favorite altcoin dead. It's quiet, non-stunning, down. And the next one. And the next. And the next. Is this even crypto?
The truth is, all of them are. Most of the coins have hit rock bottom.
All the graphs look the same, you wonder.
The markets are relatively calm as 95% of altcoins have entered a state of compression, after a long period of downtrend. Some lost 90% of their original value since ATH, some 95%, some were hit even harder, others didn't survive. And those who did, whether it's ADA, NEO, WAVES, XMR, ONT, STORM, MTL, MTH, IOST and dozens of others, are trading sideways. "Where are the big booms?" you ask. "Where is my return on investment? Is this crypto-winter about to end?"
We are here to say that...
... this is normal.
... this is natural.
... after a long period of trend, a compression (an "exhalation" if I may) must come.
As the Bollinger Bands compress, there's less volatility going on. There's less people trading. News are not coming out. It's as if the world forgot about crypto... as it should! We are at the bottom. Notice that this is precisely how it looks like. It is worth pointing out that some of the coins are already making a climb for it. They are slowly crawling up from their petty holes with mediocre to good success. Examples would be KEY/BTC, KMD/BTC, MCO/BTC, TRX/BTC.
What's to come? When enough mass ceases to be (represented by the width of bollinger bands), a new trend may start. We are seeing embryos of the upcoming cycles - and the examples given will be soon followed by others. When you look around, you see people going crazy about how this is the end of crypto. Take none of that. Act on volatility, probability, statistics and common sense. Nothing else is required to be a successful trader.
