SO why cant i be a robot ? what even are emotions ? I did my analysis, I did my risk/reward, I entered, Im enjoying the profit. Then boom starts dropping and before i know it im in negative and my whole moods changed. I switch to a lower time frame and im nervously watching it -200, -400, -500, -300, -100, +20, +2 CLOSE! AND breathe.+2. Well its better then the 500 i nearly was down 60 seconds ago but now im looking at the chart again its still dropping perhaps it was just a false breakout? Or was my strategy wrong, Was my analysis just a thought ? Should i short it now ? Lets short it, Clearly its going against me. Shorts.and again 10, -50, -100,+50, +70, -200 starts going against me and back up.WHATS GOING ON? Are the markets rigged, Are they watching my every move waiting for me to place a trade so they can fluctuate the price for my stop loss ? Or am i just emotional, Over thinking, Dim wittingly overlooking the bigger picture. The currency is volatile, Currencies are volatile. It moves up and down this is just what it is. B1GFUDG3 OUT! So after all this blabbering on, Whats the lesson we learnt here? A) Hold onto your winners, Because often your gut instinct and analysis is correct B) Dont let emotions get to you, If you have done the correct risk management and can afford the loss just walk off. Come back in 10 minutes after another cup of coffee or walk instead of watching the charts. C) If you do analysis on a higher time frame dont then sit and watch the lower time frames because often it wont be constantly in your favour. All in all this was a good trade, I did scalp the final push but i missed the long haul push because i doubted myself but now its inches away from my set take profit and i can only sit, examine and learn from the mistakes made whilst sharing with you so that hopefully you will not make the same mistakes. But if you do just remember your a dimwit. Why cant you be a robot.
