OANDA:USDJPY   U.S. Dollar / Japanese Yen
I detected a supply zone on the 5-minute chart that seems to be solid with more sellers than buyers. If the price crosses above 112.872, then I believe it will come down for a potential 2:1 reward/risk. But, it has to break below the zone between 112.791 and 112.776 for the risk/reward to be possible.

Glad to see another supply and demand trader. Direction was right but unfortunately the zone was not filled.

@baderocks2, Yup. It happens. Thanks. Supply and demand is the truth.

@JunebugPresents, how long have you been trading it? What's your win rate
Reply
@baderocks2, I've only been trading for a year after taking two courses, one official class in a real classroom and one online. The first school taught supply and demand, but with way too many rules and I wasn't really grasping it, even though I would leave setups in the practice account and come back to see a serious profit. Despite that, I strayed away to the online courses where they taught support and resistance. It was okay but it seemed lacking like I was missing the action with an RR that didn't promote profit. Constantly learning, I stumbled on content that brought me right back to supply and demand. This time around, I devoured all over my old books for the course, seek out instructors from the school and really learned to grasp it. My win rate improved dramatically in the past few months. But it has some ways to go to make up for the long stretch of losses in the beginning.

@JunebugPresents, which school, online trading academy? Sam seiden?
Reply
@baderocks2, Yes, but not Sam Seiden. My course was in NYC and it was another instructor. But when I was led back to S/D almost a year after the course, I came across Sam Seiden videos. They were useful to me because I took the course. Eventually, I connected with him and since he has been mentoring me.
