Gold has its price; learning is beyond price - Chinese proverb

If you really think logically, gold isn't a great investment at all. I mean physical gold. In the event of war, who's going to take out their gold coins or bars to exchange for goods and services ?

If the assets you buy cannot be exchange for cash immediately, it has a liquidity problem.

Trading gold commodity has lesser of this problem. By using my charts, I can prevent a major downfall in the profits I made by selling it. The market is liquid enough as there are ample buyers worldwide.

That speaks for my silver as well. I have some silver coins which I bought some years back for sentimental reasons more than anything else. So, it is unlikely I will cash it out even if the price goes higher than I wanted.

This is not the case for the Chinese and the Indians in Asia where possessing gold means a form of status. Parents would give gold bracelets, earrings, necklaces, etc as a dowry for the brides. In some way, the retail market for gold in these 2 countries are huge.

In this unprecedented times where we have skyrocketing debts globally, money printing by all central banks to drive up assets, it is inevitable that Gold will follow stocks and other assets to rise in prices as well.

It has another advantage and that is it acts as a form of hedging for inflation. We know we are in the late market cycle and once this musical chair stops, the market is heading for a major downfall. During that time, people will be scrambling for safe haven assets like Gold. Thus, buying Gold even at this price is still relatively cheap, imo.

In another words, had you taken my trade call for Gold back in December last year, you would have made about 320 dollars profit per contract at its current price.

On its way up, if you know how to go long and short using multiple time frames and the trend lines, support and resistance, your profits would be much more.

I would seize opportunities to accumulate more for the long haul.....
Comment:
Look for smaller time frame to go long as we expect the US markets to face some stormy weather ahead
