Strategy - 4H Candles Patterns / Volume / Trend (HH-LH LH-LL) / Support Resistance / Elliot Waves
• Candle Body – identify trend using candle bodies close and open to see more detail use 1H for mesocycle trend change and patterns.
• Take Profit – 1st TP at 80% of Target. 2nd TP at 0-80% because second TP is not always valid.
• Stop-loss – use 4H candle body and wick for more detail use 1H TI. In 1H/4H TI used in patterns support and resistance usually for entry on 2nd touch. Use MA for ST in profitable position 1H/4H.
• Candle Stick Patterns – are good indicators for entries and exits of positions to digest the price action lower the timeframe 1H looking for price actions patters (triangles, pennants etc.) and for target TP of 1st target and 2nd target. We can use 1D TI for entry strong position.
• Trend – use 4H/1D TI to identify trends also using HH/HL and LH/LL. Use 1H/4H for trend reversals.
• Support and Resistance – on the pull back use support or resistance for position entry with SL 1:3 ration if there is not identified TP targets.
• Entry – Use EMA 21 and EMA8 on 4H TI to enter the market. Pattern break outs usually wait for confirmation.
• Volume – good indicator of market direction.
