I also believe a 5-day pocket pivot works well as well. Rules on how I implement it is the same as the 10 day pocket pivot. Preferably near Resistance/Support area and inside a flat base. When it confluences with other well known patterns, then the probability of the setup to work really well is very high.
It is worth it to identify pocket pivots when price is under but not to far off from a resistance because once you identify it, you be able to enter a trade relatively earlier and at better price before an actual breakout of the resistance to occur.
