Inverse head and shoulders pattern on 30 minute chart with high volume. consolidation between 85.00-86.20. A move with consistent volume can take BABA to 90 quickly.

Price currently is hovering within a descending triangle, it looks like sellers are getting impatient with each rally.

Open: 88.31
T/P: 72.94
Any further downside from this triangle base of $86 is untested.

On a monthly basis Yahoo! is heavily overbought. And notice the similarity of the period 1998-200 and 2012-2014.
Of course after selling Alibaba it has to show it's own strength.
My first target will be at 30 in late Q1 this year. Later this year (around July) I expect to see 25 depending on the timeframe as we are moving in a wide upwards channel.
Retest of the previous high or a new high in 2015.
Entry close to trendline which should not be broken.
Slowly move SL below trendline as we trend higher.
TG1 at retest of ATH, TG2 next FIB confluence.
- Descending triangle, with back-testing the broken support/resistance

After successful IPO of Alibaba and resulting proceeds and forecast busting 3rd Qtr Earnings released after the market close today, will Yahoo have anything to shout about. Or will it be the case that Yahoo's wealth and treasures will flee along with Alibaba & his 40 thieves?
