A small method to translate strings to numbers.
For example, we have a string:
s = "321"
To check if the last symbol is "1", we might just try to remove (or replace with an empty string) the symbol "1". If the string changed, then there was the symbol "1" in the string:
s2 = str.replace_all (s, "1", "")
now s2 is "32", so
s == s2 returns false.
But we can't...
I'm a big fan of simple strategies.
This one is a very simple one. So it consists only from one Trailing SL. When SL is hit, the position is reversed and SL is tracked for a new position.
You can choose one of 3 types of SL:
% of your price
ATR - it is calculated as current ATR * multiplier
As you can see even this simple strategy can show...
The FollowLine indicator is a trend following indicator. The blue/red lines are activated when the price closes above the upper Bollinger band or below the lower one.
Once the trigger of the trend direction is made, the FollowLine will be placed at High or Low (depending of the trend).
An ATR filter can be selected to place the line at a more distance level than...
This is a stochastic indicator that show the stochastic in your current timeframe and also the stochastic from the timeframe above (if current is 15 mins - the above is 1 hour etc). When the 2 stochastics align the background colour highlights to emphasise that. The idea being that you have your current stochastic pushing down improving your change of a...
It indicates the previous week high and low.
When overlaid on the daily chart, it give buy and sell signals (in the understanding you have made a trade setup). Buy when the price crosses the previous week high, sell when it crosses the previous week low.
My Contribution to Jake Bernstein Educational Series, Initiated by Chris Moody.
The Stochastic Pop was developed by Jake Bernstein and modified by David Steckler. Bernstein's original Stochastic Pop is a trading strategy that identifies price pops when the Stochastic Oscillator surges above 80. Steckler modified this strategy by adding conditional filters using...

Hersheys Volume Pressure gives you very nice confirmation of trend starts and stops using volume and price.
For up bars...
If you have a large price range with low volume, that's very bullish.
If you have a small price range with low volume, that's bullish.
For down bars...
If you have a large price range with low volume, that's very bearish.
If you have a small...
A simple way to find Higher Highs and Lower Lows (HH and LL) whit automatic Fibonacci Lines in the most common levels.
In this indicator the Higher Highs only happens when a high value are rising from each other in the last "Length of Real Pivots" highs and the next same number of highs are falling in every single bar.
The Lower Lows are inverted, LL only...
