The Gottcha ADBE Trend

The ADBE Trend is one that is often a “gottcha” for new swing traders. The problem is trading leadership. The runs are not initiated by Dark Pools or Pro Traders. The runs are initiated by smaller funds using VWAP or, worse, the retail crowd. The retail crowd is more emotional, has less experience and minimal training. Therefore, the runs they create are harder to trade. Try to avoid trading stocks that lack strong runs. Strive to trade with the Pro Traders, as the follow-through of the run is more reliable and the profits are usually much higher. This is not the ideal stock for swing trading at this time.

gosh I got Adbe when it sold at $28 but only 55 shares :(. Never again will I buy anything below 100-200 shares so you can sell half if you need to, can't sell it so am stuck long term. Been trying to calculate if it would make sense to sell before we crash and then get in on the bottom but that bottom will be at least 4x where I'm at now. What would you guys do with this? I believe this company will be worth at least 3x what it is now in the future. This is part of my retirement portfolio so I will hate to watch it dwindle 40-70% :(....
@cyberluck, Consider yourself lucky to have made $244 points per share so far. It's not a bad stock to be long term fundamentally--some study should be done here too. But study strong support levels to understand how much risk you must potentially tolerate for a long term hold. For example, a drop to the support at 232 would be 15% or about 40 points at risk. See the risk assessment idea I posted today for COST. @TechniTraderTraining, I am ok with reading charts thank you but 15% is not what we're facing in the near future...the next correction (or as some love to call it Financial crash) will be 40-70%
