Marvelous understanding. I did take that long term of a view as well and have pretty much the same thought as you. The thing about false breakouts is that they do not break out that far, or else they be 'true breakouts'.
Thank you. False breakouts in my experience are best tested by applying more time (see below). Looking at a 12 month chart there's still a clear breakout and correction should be expected but limited. Nevertheless, cannot trust even the highest probability situations too much.
