I like to zoom out and back check with simple indicators and the 50/200 crossover is a popular tried a true one.

As noted on the chart:
Using the date measuring tool from left to right periods lasted 61 days, 47 days, 73 days
The most recent one on the top crossed on December 14 and we are 21 days in
I think its a safe assumption to say the long term DEMA will stay on top of the short term DEMA for 47-73 days, we are 21 days in so that would look like 3 weeks to about 1.5 months excluding any outlier events.
