GBPUSD: Bullish & Bearish Advanced Pattern Formations

FX:GBPUSD   British Pound/U.S. Dollar
Hey Traders! Here's a look at the chart I went over in this week's Forex market Preview video looking at 2 potential advanced pattern formations setting up on the GBPUSD             .

In RED is a potential bearish Advanced Bat Formations & in GREEN is a potential bullish Advanced Gartley Formation

Good luck in the markets this week & hopefully the new Pattern Assistant Tool will make trading a little easier for you.
Comment: Bullish Gartley is now invalid
Trade active: Filled short
Trade closed manually
Comment: Missed full targets by about 10 pips (sigh) just closed manually at market for a small profit as I take all potential risk off the table before the non farms payroll report

Great stuff Akil, as always. What time zone are you in? I'm in New York Time Zone (EST) but my bars look different than yours at the turning points.

@Shortmandu, I'm New York time

@Akil_Stokes, Thanks Akil. I used Interactive Brokers. What would cause my Candles to look different than yours? For example, you may have an engulfing candle formation...where I do not.
(Same Forex pair...same Time Frame....same Time Zone....)
@Shortmandu, If everything is the same I'm not sure. Data may be different from broker to broker, but even then it's only by minimal amounts. Normally i would say to check your closing times for the candle and make sure it's set to NY and not GMT or something else, but you already said you've done that

@Akil_Stokes, thanks Akil. It's a mystery. All seems to be in order, but the candles are slightly different. I will figure it out. If anyone else knows why this might be happening, please comment. I appreciate all you do for aspiring traders, Akil.
yesterday i took profits at 23.6 on GBPUSD BAT, closed short on AUDUSD that was potentially heading to a Cypher D-leg completion and refused to pull the trigger on NZDUSD head and shoulders...all becasue of today's news..somehow breaking my rules feels better than gambling...

@Andy009, Probably not a good idea to get in the habit of breaking your rules
Hey Akil, do you close out all your trades befor non-farms or only the ones that are around break even?
