FX:GBPUSD   British Pound / U.S. Dollar
A unified gartley completed on on gbpusd on Friday. The swing identification algorithm is prex(12). Historically, on this pair and this timeframe, the pattern with this swing identification and with these ratios has a slightly higher probability for continuation (futher up to 1.05XA) rather than for a reversal (same distance in opposite direction, down to 0.522XA). The exact probability numbers are 50.63% for continuation and 49.37% for reversal. Because the numbers are almost the same, in situations like this I recommend to try to get a better entry. This way the RR increases and the expectancy becomes greater. There were plenty of execution opportunities below the 78,6 after the pattern completed. Of course, all this planning makes sense when you plan your trade in advance, before it was completed. Otherwise you are always late, have worse price and, consequently, lower expectancy.
Trade closed: target reached: probabilities played out well. take profit is hit

@frankfoot75, I meant I think that the differences in execution occur when......

@frankfoot75, Nope, you aren't. Pattern's probability shouldn't depend on execution or confirmation. It should work on it own.
