S&P500 RECENT HISTORY & What Drives Prices On A Chart

AMEX:SPY   SPDR S&P 500 ETF TRUST
As you can see much of the gains since the GFC of 2007, the markets have been pumped by various means.
Deficits, ZIRP, QE, Ops. Twists etc... The moment that all went away (thx to the great equalizer Commodities)
due to inflation, everything has reversed course.

Contrary to popular belief there are rules to markets. While markets may appear random to you, the reality
is they are not. What is random are the unforeseen circumstances that may occur in the future. But even then
the markets will apply the same rules and adjust accordingly. With that in mind, guessing is not what makes
one a successful trader/investor. Unfortunately too many believe guessing better than others is the way to
go. I say that is the way to go bust!

Learn the rules of the markets, don't guess what the next random circumstances will be, let them occur, adjust
based on the message of the market applying the rules.

What are the rules? In the simplest way possible, think, money chases yield and capital protection.
