Either we get an explosion in the VIX as the recession is finally here and there are clear signs of growth falling off the cliff, or there is an explosion in the markets (from around 3500) as the market starts to price in a soft landing...
Either way, the market will face lower higher and lower lows as the VIX indicates, this was very similar to what happened in 2000
