ETH H1 Liquidity Magnet at 2,886 BPR Mid-Line Reaction Framework📝 Description
ETH on H1 remains in a corrective / range-bound structure. A high-quality liquidity pool sits at 2,886, perfectly aligned with the BPR mid-line, making it the most logical draw-on-price for any fresh move. Markets typically seek liquidity before initiating a new leg, so a rotation into this zone is the base expectation.
________________________________________
📈 Analysis (Scenario-Based | Non-Signal)
Primary Liquidity Scenario:
• Price is expected to rotate toward 2,886 to tap resting liquidity at the BPR mid-line
Bullish Reaction Scenario:
• A sweep of the prior low at 2,886 with acceptance can open upside toward 3,000 and 3,060
Failure Scenario:
• Failure to hold 2,886 shifts the draw toward 2,840 and 2,775
________________________________________
🎯 ICT & SMC Notes
• Strong liquidity concentration at 2,886
• Liquidity required before expansion
• Sweep + hold favors mean reversion higher
• Acceptance below favors continuation lower
________________________________________
🧩 Summary
This is a liquidity-mapping framework, not a trade signal. ETH is likely drawn toward 2,886 first. A clean sweep and defense there opens upside toward 3,000 and 3,060. Failure to reclaim that zone increases probability of continuation into 2,840 and 2,775. The reaction at 2,886 defines the next leg.

BTC/USDT Analysis. No Santa Rally This Time?
Hello everyone! This is the CryptoRobotics trader-analyst with a daily market update.
Yesterday, Bitcoin once again set a local low and then returned to its previous range. However, no significant cluster anomalies or signs of strong defense were detected. Price action remains largely inertial, with no clear dominance from either buyers or sellers.
In the short term, we allow for an upward range expansion and a potential test of the $88,400 technical level. That said, opening long positions from current levels looks questionable due to the lack of a confirmed bullish impulse.
Our core scenario remains unchanged: we will consider long positions either after a test of more significant support levels below, or upon the formation of a clear and validated setup.

ES Weekly Outlook: Can the Santa Rally Carry ES Back to All TimeMacro Backdrop and Sentiment Over the Past Month
Over the past month, the macro narrative for ES has been defined by a gradual shift from momentum driven optimism to a more cautious and selective risk environment. Coming out of October, equities were supported by easing financial conditions, strong earnings from mega cap technology, and continued enthusiasm around productivity gains tied to AI investment. That optimism pushed ES to fresh all time highs by the end of October.
As November progressed, sentiment became more balanced. Market participants began to reassess forward growth expectations, the path of monetary policy, and the sustainability of stretched valuations. Rather than a sharp risk off move, the tape transitioned into a rotational regime where participants became increasingly responsive around well defined value areas.
This shift has resulted in slower tempo, overlapping value, and greater sensitivity to technical references rather than headline driven trend continuation. The market has increasingly rewarded patience, context, and execution around key levels as opposed to chasing momentum.
What the Market has done
• From the all time highs made at the end of October, the market rotated lower toward the 6605 area, which aligned with daily support. Responsive buyers entered aggressively at this level and successfully defended the level.
• Following the responsive buying, price auctioned higher toward the 6975 area, which aligned with daily resistance and the 5 November weekly value area high, where sellers responded and capped further upside.
• During the past week, the market broke below the first two weeks of December’s range and the composite value area, signaling a short term loss of acceptance at higher prices.
• Price then auctioned lower toward the 6780 area, which aligned with the 24 November weekly VPOC, where buyers once again responded and defended the level.
• Responsive buying from 6780 drove the price back higher toward the 6885 area, which sits near the 12 December weekly settlement and the two week composite value area low, reinforcing the broader balanced structure.
What to expect in the coming week
The key reference to frame the coming week is the previous week’s settlement at 6888.50.
Bullish scenario
• If the market can accept above 6888.50, expect an auction higher toward the 6970 area, which aligns with daily resistance, the 5 November weekly value area high, and the weekly 0.5 standard deviation high.
• Sellers are expected to respond in the 6970 area and attempt to rotate price back down
• If sellers fail to defend this area, continuation higher toward 7012 becomes likely, which aligns with all time highs and the weekly 1 standard deviation high.
Bearish scenario
• If the market is unable to accept above 6888.50, expect a move lower toward the 6827 area, which aligns with the previous week’s value area low and the weekly 0.5 standard deviation low.
• Buyers are expected to respond at 6827 to bid prices back up through value.
• If buyers fail to hold 6827, expect a continuation lower toward the 6780 area, which aligns with the previous week’s low, the 24 November weekly VPOC, and the weekly 1 standard deviation low.
Neutral scenario
• If the market is unable to extend meaningfully beyond 6970 on the upside or 6827 on the downside, expect the market to remain balanced and rotational.
• In this scenario, value is likely to continue shifting modestly higher as the market awaits the next catalyst.
Conclusion
ES remains in a broader balance regime where responsive trade dominates and initiative activity has struggled to sustain follow through. Until the market can show clear acceptance above resistance or below support, patience and level based execution remain critical. The previous week’s settlement at 6888.50 will act as the primary decision point this week that helps determine whether the market seeks higher prices, deeper balance, or continued two way trade. If seasonal Santa rally dynamics come into play, they may act as the catalyst that allows the market to regain initiative strength and auction back toward all time highs.

Tesla Stock Lifts 2025 Gains to 20% as Traders Eye Santa RallyA megacap squeezing in one more rally before year-end? Yes, please.
🚗 A Holiday Glide Higher for Tesla Shares
Tesla NASDAQ:TSLA is heading into December with solid momentum. Coming into Monday, the stock has risen 20% since January, putting it on track for a third straight annual gain .
Investors will gladly take it. Tesla isn’t exactly a low-volatility cuddle toy — this is a stock that fell 65% in 2022, then turned around and doubled in 2023, then tacked on another 63% in 2024.
Still, the long arc is impressive: since Tesla's 2010 IPO, the stock has only posted annual declines twice — in 2016 and that infamous crash year of 2022. This year’s 20% gain looks tame by Tesla standards, but context matters: tame is good.
🎅 Santa Rally Season: Will Tesla Join the Party?
This is the time of year when traders start looking for that special year-end swing called Santa rally.
Fortunately, December has been good to Tesla shares. Really good. The stock has risen in more than half of all Decembers since its flotation 15 years ago, with nine monthly gains and six declines over its life as a public company.
Why does the Santa rally happen?
• Some say it’s psychology: investors in a good mood tend to buy.
• Some say it’s portfolio managers smoothing out their year-end reports.
• Others point to tax strategies, retail flows, or just holiday optimism.
No one really knows — which makes it the perfect market myth. But if Santa does show up this year, Tesla benefits. A few cheerful sessions could be enough to lock in another positive annual finish.
Just don’t confuse December with easy money. Historically, it’s just as volatile as every other month — and sometimes worse.
🔥 When December Isn’t So Jolly
Want a reminder that Tesla can rewrite the script in both directions? Look no further than December 2022, when the stock plunged 37% in a single month.
Back then, investors worried CEO Elon Musk’s bold acquisition of Twitter (now X) was consuming far too much of his attention — at the cost of Tesla’s market cap.
The 2025 backdrop is far calmer. Today’s concerns are more traditional Tesla fare:
• How many cars will it deliver?
• What will margins look like?
• Is the growth runway intact?
• What type of robots will Elon talk about on the next call?
December can still swing.
📦 Deliveries: The Real Catalyst on Deck
But traders love a year-cap rally. Even more so when there’s something to bet on.
Expectations for Tesla’s Q4 2025 deliveries sit between 507,000 and 512,000 vehicles, a number that would help confirm a steady, if not explosive, growth narrative.
More importantly, full-year 2025 deliveries are projected to exceed 2 million units, aligning with Elon Musk’s long-term growth target of 20–30% year-over-year production.
In Tesla’s world, hitting numbers is the difference between “Tesla has momentum” and “Tesla is broken again.”
That means Q4 data — arriving Thursday, January 1 or Friday, January 2, 2026 — will be key for this year’s narrative. The numbers drop early in the morning while everyone is still recovering from celebrations, and suddenly your phone buzzes with either joy or existential dread.
Earnings are a big factor, too. The next report date, as per the earnings calendar , is set for January 28.
🎁 The Takeaway: A Rally Within Reach
Tesla’s 20% gain in 2025 looks solid heading into the final stretch, and seasonality is on its side.
• December tends to be kind.
• Santa rallies tend to lift boats.
• Analysts are optimistic about deliveries.
• The stock has historical resilience.
But this is still Tesla — a stock with a personality, a fanbase, a fierce opposition , and a volatility profile that can make your stomach churn.

AI Stocks Started Sneezing… and Indices May Have Caught a Chill? The NASDAQ (a.k.a. the AI theme park) just printed a much lower monthly low.
ES? It dipped… but only politely.
That mismatch matters. When tech acts tired, the broader market usually needs caffeine — or a correction.
The Indicators Are Whispering… and They Don’t Sound Bullish
The CCI is saying “lower highs,” while price is saying “higher highs.”
Classic divergence.
The MACD histogram is fading like holiday lights at 4 a.m.
Momentum? Not dead — just yawning.
Three Levels That Could Decide Whether Santa Shows Up
Think of December like a video game boss fight with three phases:
6,525.00 → First alarm bell. Break it and the mood changes.
6,239.50 → “Bear trap danger zone.” Plenty could happen here.
4,430.50 → The deep level nobody wants to talk about, but everyone should mark.
If ES finds its footing near 6,239.50, Santa still has a shot.
If not… well… Grinch season might come early.

Micro E-mini S&P 500 Futures (MES)

Margins vary by broker and can change with volatility, but these figures reflect current exchange-level requirements.
Risk Management: The Only Real Holiday Magic
ES and MES give traders the same view of the market but with different intensity levels.
December is emotional, fast, and occasionally rude — so size positions like someone who wants to enjoy the holidays, not stress through them.
Pick a zone → define the invalidation level → cap your dollar risk → choose ES or MES accordingly.
Simple. Calm. Holiday-friendly.
Final Thought
Santa hasn’t canceled the rally yet. But AI stocks aren’t exactly singing Christmas carols either.
If the tech giants recover, December could still sparkle.
If they don’t… the sleigh might need a repair shop.
Either way: chart levels > seasonal hope.
Trade safe — and maybe hide a cookie for the market, just in case.

Santa Rally or Santa Crash? What History SaysSanta Rally or Santa Crash? What History Says About December Volatility?
Every year, traders wait for the “Santa Rally” — the seasonal jump in stocks during the last week of December and the first two trading days of January. But history shows that December isn’t always a calm or bullish month. While the S&P 500 has posted a Santa Rally in about 70% of the past 25 years, several Decembers have still ended in the red, including notable declines in 2002, 2018, and 2022.
Seasonality matters, but macro conditions often dominate. A firm Federal Reserve stance, year-end tax-loss selling, and thin holiday liquidity can all turn December into a more volatile period.
So what could this December bring — a Santa Rally or a Santa Crash? The market may offer gifts, but history reminds us that risk management is the one thing traders can rely on.

GBP sinks as “Santa cut” possibility grow Sterling is under pressure after the UK’s September inflation data came in softer than expected. Annual inflation held steady at 3.8%, below forecasts of 4%, strengthening expectations that the Bank of England could deliver a “Santa cut” in December. Markets are now pricing a 72% chance of a rate reduction before year-end.
The weaker inflation print triggered a classic market reaction, with GBP/USD falling below its 200-hour moving average, its lowest level in a week, as sellers gain control and shift sentiment to a more neutral-to-bearish bias.
Immediate support potentially lies near 1.33055, followed by the key level at 1.32484. Sterling bulls, meanwhile, might have trouble justifying an attempt at the daily moving average that capped the pairs late October rally.
Levi Strauss & Co | LEVI | Long at $15.75NYSE:LEVI Straus & Co. A very historically strong company with a loyal following. While you can say what you want about quality changes and a company that feels "stale", Levis jeans don't go out of style - they just ebb and flow within style trends. While the value isn't quite there for NYSE:LEVI with a P/E of 42x and price-to-cash flow of 22x, we are near Santa Claus rally season. From a technical analysis standpoint, it just touched the "bottom" of my historical simple moving average and may be poised for a bounce from here. However, there are still two price gaps on the daily chart between $13.70 and $14.50 that (likely) will eventually be closed - which I believe may occur with greater signs of slowing consumer spending (i.e. future recession). But, for now, NYSE:LEVI is at my personal buy zone at $15.75 for a buy-and-hold into 2025.
Target #1 = $18.00
Target #2 = $20.90
Target #3 = $22.75
Crocs | CROX | Long at $98.00If the overall/long-term upward momentum continues, Crocs NASDAQ:CROX may be nearing bounce territory at $98 as it reaches the bottom of my selected historical simple moving average (SMA). While there may be a near-term downtrend to close out a few price gaps ($80s-$90s) below the current price, the stock looks incredibly poised for an upward move as the Santa Claus rally nears. Fundamentally, a P/E of 7x, low debt, and a low float (56M) with 7% short interest all works in the favor for this stock/company. Thus, at $98, NASDAQ:CROX is in a personal buy zone.
Target #1 = $110
Target #2 = $125
Target #3 = $135
Target #4 = $155 (long-term)
Kirklands | KIRK | Long at $1.99Kirklands $NASDAQ:KIRK. A strong move may be brewing... The historical simple moving average (SMA) is flirting with the price and has yet to break the barrier - which often results in a sharp price increase. The downward trend is finally starting to reverse based on this measure, too. While it may not soar to crazy highs like in 2021, the chart setup is exactly what I like to see for an anticipated move up as it consolidates. A 12M float and 7% short interest could get the ball rolling if/when the price breaks into the historical SMA.
Fundamentally, NASDAQ:KIRK is a small-cap with $114 million in sales. It recently partnered with NYSE:BYON as an exclusive licensee of Bed Bath & Beyond neighborhood stores, positioning the company as a multi-brand retailer. The first Bed Bath & Beyond neighborhood store is planned for a 2025 opening. Could this be the force for a future price move? Time will tell.
At $1.99, NASDAQ:KIRK is in a personal buy zone.
Target #1 = $2.50
Target #2 = $2.75
Target #3 = $3.00
Target #4 = $4.00
KLong
GoPro | GPRO | Long at $1.35NASDAQ:GPRO is a strong brand name, but with a dying userbase / lack of growth. The company has no major turnaround planned, but the chart is interesting. The stock seems to be currently consolidating as the historical simple moving average (white line) is working its way down toward the price - which often leads to a jump. Another candidate for the Santa Claus rally? Or, will the "value" lead to an acquisition? Nothing is guaranteed, but something may be brewing. While not a long-term "buy and hold" candidate for me (personally, unless the business changes or growth seems relevant), it looks very intriguing from a technical analysis perspective. Thus, at $1.35, NASDAQ:GPRO is in a personal buy zone.
Target #1: $1.70
Target #2: $2.00
Target #3: $2.50
Target #4: $2.88 (if some good news emerges...)
Purple Innovation | PRPL | Long at $0.93Purple Innovation / Mattress NASDAQ:PRPL is facing a Nasdaq delisting if it can't stay above $1 by early 2025. However, a positive move up (from a technical analysis perspective) may be brewing. My historical simple moving average lines are approaching the price, which more often than not means a future price jump. But the question is, will it occur before the scheduled delisting?
Google Trends shows the largest spike in the search for "Purple Mattress" occurred between June to December 2024. The CEO of NASDAQ:PRPL bought $203k worth of shares around this initial spike. The company is not expected to be profitable for some time, but I am more interested in the short-term move here vs the strength of the company, long-term. So, while this is a "risky" play, especially with the approaching Nasdaq delisting, it's interesting from a technical analysis end. At $0.93, NASDAQ:PRPL is in a personal buy zone through January 2025.
Target #1 = $1.14
Target #2 = $1.30
Target #3 = $1.50
Target #4 = $1.63

What if Santa is REAL?!Hear me out.
Santa is coming this year.
Let's assume that the correction is over for the Christmas' sake, in a simple ABC zigzag, and we the low set at $1.9 was the local low.
Right now, we could be simply in the beginning of the final impulse in 2024.
From my point of view based on the subwave count, we could be waiting for a wave (3) of the intermediate degree to take out the ATH.
How confident can I be in this scenario and the Santa rally?
Not so much. Unless BTC retakes 100K, stabilizes around there, and the dominance relaxes to allow the altcoin market to breathe, I'd still assume we are range bound in a wedge.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY SPYLOVERS !!!Two weeks ago, I projected some very common behaviors that candles exhibit after a long rally. If you compare the two types of candles I marked on the left-hand side, notice how candle models "A" and "B" have very different body structures. Candles "A" have a more volumetric medium-sized body, which indicates strength. However, we are not exempt from their natural pullback, which, to complete one trend cycle, broke the structure itself upward.
Candles "B" are smaller than Candles "A," allowing us to distinguish the significant weakness in the uptrend. The price starts to lose momentum, and consequently, we can expect it to take a pause before falling.
After projecting the two scenarios where SPY was positioned two weeks ago, we were able to predict both future movements correctly:
When the price reached historical highs, it paused or consolidated, showing descending candles (see the magenta arrow). Later, a volumetric candle confirmed the drop.
Within the two scenarios, I marked two possible levels where the price would fall. The rebound occurred correctly at the second level, a historical resting zone where the price has been since October.
This analysis is entirely based on price action and historical zones. It's essential to stay alert to institutional and liquidity zones to ensure the most accurate analysis possible.
Now we are in the final week of the year, and historically, markets tend to react bullishly. But the question is: Will it be different this time?
In my opinion: I believe the price can reach new historical highs, as it is demonstrating with strong bullish pressure candles.
At this moment, I think we are at a good support level located at the previous resistance of our entire bullish channel. I believe the price will re-enter the channel and resume the sequence it has been following within the overall bullish structure.
This concludes my analysis of SPY for now. Let's see what the next few days bring as we continue monitoring the market.

PancakeSwap Wraps Up 2024 With a Record-Breaking Year PancakeSwap, one of the leading decentralized exchanges (DEXs), has achieved a significant milestone, recording a total trading volume of $310 billion in 2024. This marks a staggering 179% increase compared to 2023, highlighting the growing adoption of decentralized finance (DeFi) and layer-2 (L2) blockchain networks.
Record-Breaking Trading Volume
In 2024, PancakeSwap achieved $310 billion in trading volume, up from $111 billion in 2023. This growth was fueled by increased activity on L2 blockchains like Arbitrum and Base, which saw explosive year-over-year (YoY) increases of 3,656% and 3,539%, respectively.
Key Contributors to Growth
- DeFi Adoption: The rise in total value locked (TVL) across DeFi platforms—from $54 billion at the start of the year to $121 billion by December 24—boosted trading volumes.
- Cross-Chain Expansion: PancakeSwap expanded its presence on Ethereum (+251% YoY) and the BNB Chain (+155% YoY), showcasing its adaptability to multi-chain ecosystems.
- User-Centric Upgrades: Enhancements like the revamped swap interface, PancakeSwapX, and tools like the Telegram Swap bot have improved user experience, encouraging higher engagement.
Innovative Features
PancakeSwapX, launched in October 2024, introduced zero-fee trading and gasless asset swaps on Ethereum and Arbitrum. This innovation significantly reduced onboarding complexities for new users, making DeFi more accessible to mainstream investors.
Technical Analysis
As of the time of writing, NASDAQ:CAKE is trading at $2.53, up 1.75% within a consolidation channel. Despite recent price stagnation, several indicators suggest potential movement:
Relative Strength Index (RSI): The RSI is currently at 46, indicating neutral momentum. However, the overall market sentiment remains positive.
All-Time High (ATH) Potential: After peaking at $4.6 earlier this month, NASDAQ:CAKE has retraced. With the altcoin market gaining momentum, a post-Christmas rally could push NASDAQ:CAKE back toward its ATH.
Competitive Position
PancakeSwap is currently the second-largest DEX by daily trading volume ($2.23 billion), trailing Uniswap ($3.11 billion). It remains a dominant force in the DeFi space, supported by strong community engagement and a focus on innovation.
Outlook for 2025
With the continued expansion of DeFi and L2 adoption, PancakeSwap is well-positioned for sustained growth in 2025. The platform’s emphasis on simplifying the user experience and integrating innovative features like gasless swaps will likely attract a broader audience, further solidifying its position as a top-tier DEX.
Final Thoughts
PancakeSwap’s $310 billion milestone underscores the platform’s ability to adapt and thrive in the rapidly evolving DeFi landscape. As NASDAQ:CAKE approaches the new year, both its technical setup and PancakeSwap’s fundamental advancements point toward a promising trajectory for 2025.
NAS100 - Nasdaq, waiting for the final days of Santa Rally?!The index is located between EMA200 and EMA50 in the four-hour time frame and is trading in its ascending channel. If the index corrects towards the supply zone, you can look for the next Nasdaq sell positions with the appropriate risk reward. Nasdaq being in the demand zone will provide us with the conditions to buy it.
The Federal Reserve, in its latest meeting, reduced the interest rate by 25 basis points, bringing it to a range of 4.25%–4.50%. However, FOMC members now forecast the 2025 interest rate to hover around 3.9%, higher than their September projection of 3.4%.
Markets were largely surprised by the Fed’s hawkish stance, especially following Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election. Jerome Powell, the Fed Chair, indirectly emphasized during the post-meeting press conference that policymakers are currently assessing the impact of Trump’s economic policies on inflation and growth.
This shift has unsettled investors, dampening the optimistic market sentiment that typically precedes the Christmas holiday. Concerns are rising that if the Trump administration follows through on its campaign promises regarding taxes, tariffs, and immigration, the Fed may have to reverse its rate-cutting trajectory and adopt rate hikes instead.
The outlook for 2025 has also seen adjustments. The Federal Reserve now expects only two rate cuts in 2025, compared to four cuts forecasted in September. This adjustment reflects the persistent inflation that remains above the central bank’s target range.
Following the Fed’s announcement, the S&P 500 experienced its steepest decline in 27 months, falling over 3.5%. The last time the U.S. stock index saw such a significant drop was in September 2022, during peak inflation and amid aggressive monetary tightening. Similarly, the Nasdaq dropped by 3.6%, marking its worst decline in five months.
Morgan Stanley also revised its outlook for the Fed, predicting two 25-basis-point rate cuts in 2025, instead of the previously anticipated three cuts.
On the economic front, the Conference Board Consumer Confidence Index, scheduled for release today, is likely to draw market attention. This index has risen steadily over the past two months, while one of its components—the sub-index measuring “job finding difficulty”—has declined during the same period. Given its strong correlation with the official unemployment rate, a further drop in December could signal job growth and a stronger dollar.
On Tuesday, November data for durable goods orders and new home sales will be released. Durable goods orders, which grew by 0.3% in October, are expected to decline by 0.4% month-over-month. However, investors often focus on the more specific “non-defense capital goods orders (excluding aircraft),” which tends to exhibit less volatility and is a key input for GDP calculations.
Overall, if market volatility persists during the holiday season, equities and bonds are likely to be impacted. The Fed’s hawkish tone is unfavorable for stocks, suggesting continued selling pressure as Treasury yields rise. The U.S. Treasury plans to auction two-year, five-year, and seven-year notes this week. If demand falls short of expectations, bond yields could face additional upward pressure.
Deutsche Bank, in a recent note, highlighted a significant shift in the Fed’s tone. Although the Fed reduced the interest rate by 25 basis points to a range of 4.25%–4.50%, analysts noted a more hawkish stance than expected.
One key indicator of this shift is the upward revision of the 2025 median inflation forecast to 2.5%, which Deutsche Bank described as “notable.” According to this report, the Fed does not anticipate inflation returning to its 2% target until 2027.
Furthermore, the Fed’s updated forward guidance lacked any clear indications of future rate cuts. Jerome Powell described the December rate cut as a “difficult decision,” which faced opposition from Loretta Mester, President of the Cleveland Fed.
Deutsche Bank analysts believe the Fed is unlikely to take any action during its January meeting, and the current pause could extend into a prolonged hold throughout 2025. Forecasts suggest that interest rates will remain above 4% next year, with no additional cuts anticipated.
Perhaps a 'Santa Rally' is just one step away to begin in 2024Stock markets often enjoy a seasonal share boost during the festive period.
It's been two unpredictable year for stock markets after gloomy 2022 but all we are, traders, investors, TradingViewers are hoping for a successful end-of-year boost in the form of a so-called Santa rally.
Shares have much wide, breather and better performance so far in 2024, amid trade and geopolitical tensions, high inflation and high interest rate.
So... while children are compiling their Christmas lists, traders also want some sweet candies.
Traditionally, festive cheer and holiday household spending make the markets more optimistic during the holiday season, boosting investor portfolios.
But will 2024 follow the trend?
The "Santa rally", a term coined in 1972 by Yale Hirsch, the founder of the Stock Trader’s Almanac, "describes a tendency for the stock market to go up by 1% to 2%" over final five trading days of the outgoing year and the first two of the new one, said Forbes Advisor .
This period has "historically" shown higher stock prices in the S&P 500 SP:SPX 79.2% of the time, says Investopedia .
What drives the Santa rally?
Reasons for the Santa rally are vary and one explanation is the cheery "end of year mood" that means investors are in more of a "buying temperament" rather than selling shares, which pushes up stock prices
Will there be a Santa rally this year?
Probably, Yes. September quarter capped off the best 12-months return (+36.36%) for S&P500 Index since the pandemic stock market recovery in 2020, so there are a lot of hopes that stars will align, and momentum in the markets, helped by declining U.S. interest rate, will push prices higher in the run-up to Christmas.
Sure, there is "no guarantee", though. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes it is not.
The odds of a Santa rally may be in your favor, but the "best option" (author's opinion) is to do nothing, remain invested and be "pleasantly surprised" by another strong month by the new year.
The main technical graph for S&P500 Index says that we right now.. already somewhere above to 6'000 points for SPX Index, and just one step to break it out to reach the next one half-a-mile, i.e. 6'500 points by the end of the year.
Just follow the major upside trend, that's been taken earlier this summer. And that is all.
Merry Christmas y'all, TradingViewers! See you in a Happy New 2025 Year! 💖💖
Will Santa Bring Bitcoin? Tracking Crypto Trends Each DecemberAs the festive season draws near, Bitcoin traders often wonder: is December a gift-giving month for the OG crypto or one where Santa skips the BTC chimney altogether?

But this year, the festive cheer in the crypto world is particularly jolly.
Bitcoin BTCUSD has smashed through the $100,000 mark , Ethereum ETHUSD is dancing above $4,000 , and the markets are buzzing with speculation about lower interest rates from the Federal Reserve and crypto-friendly policies from Donald Trump’s White House.

❆ Start of December: ~$40,000
❆ End of December: ~$42,500 (+6%)
With the market recovering from the harsh crypto winter of 2022, Bitcoin climbed steadily throughout the year, culminating in December's moderate gains.
Bitcoin ended 2023 on a modestly bullish note, driven by renewed optimism around regulatory developments and institutional interest, especially around the Bitcoin exchange-traded funds that would launch in January 2024.
Final Days of 2024: A December to Remember?
Bitcoin’s 2024 trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable, with the OG cryptocurrency trading above $108,000 — a new all-time high. December’s price action will likely hinge on several key factors:
1️⃣ Federal Reserve Policy : Markets are pricing in a 25-basis-point interest rate cut at the Fed's final meeting of the year on December 18. This has already fueled risk-on sentiment, but a surprise decision to hold rates could spark a possible sell-off.
2️⃣ Institutional Demand : Big-shot investors have continued to pour into Bitcoin in 2024, with the genuine Bitcoin ETFs accumulating more than $100 billion in assets.
3️⃣ Market Sentiment : After breaking $100,000, Bitcoin’s psychological momentum is strong. Traders are eyeing $125,000 as the next target, though volatility could lead to sharp corrections.
4️⃣ Donald Trump : The sheer power concentrated in one man — President-elect has vowed to support the growth of the crypto industry through a Bitcoin strategic reserve, lower taxes, sweeping deregulation and higher tariffs on US imports. Bullishness is truly in the air heading into 2025.
What’s Under the Tree for Crypto in 2025?
Looking ahead, the outlook for Bitcoin and the broader crypto market remains bullish. The combination of institutional, business and consumer adoption, favorable regulatory developments, and a macroeconomic environment that continues to favor risk assets sets the stage for further growth. While $108,000 is impressive, many believe it’s just the beginning of Bitcoin’s next chapter.
As we wrap up 2024, one thing is clear: the crypto market never takes a holiday (or any days off). Whether the Fed today delivers a rate cut or not, traders can expect plenty of action as we head into the new year. So, grab your hot cocoa, keep your TradingView app handy, and enjoy the ride.
Happy holidays, and may your trades be merry and bright!
Trading the Santa Rally: How to Ride the Supposed Year-End SurgeThe Santa Rally — a festive event characterized by silent nights and active markets. Every December, traders whisper about it with a mix of excitement and skepticism. But what exactly is this supposed year-end market surge? Is it a gift from the markets or just a glittery myth? Let’s unwrap the truth.
🎅 What Is the Santa Rally?
The Santa Rally refers to the tendency for stock markets to rise during the last few trading days of December and sometimes even the first few days of January. It’s like a financial advent calendar, but instead of dark chocolate, traders hope for green candles.
The origins of this term aren’t entirely clear, but the event is widely observed. Analysts cite everything from holiday cheer to quarter-end, year-end portfolio adjustments as possible reasons. But beware — like a wrongly wrapped gift, the rally doesn’t always deliver what you expect.
🎄 Fact or Festive Fiction?
The Numbers Don’t Lie (Mostly):
Historical data does show that markets have a knack to perform well during the Santa Rally window. For instance, the S&P 500 SPX has delivered positive returns in about 75% of the observed periods since 1950. That’s better odds than guessing who’s going to win the “Ugly Sweater Contest” at the office.
Not Guaranteed:
However, let’s not confuse correlation with causation. While historical trends are nice to know, the market isn’t obliged to follow tradition. Geopolitical events, Fed decisions, or even a rogue tweet can easily knock this rally off course (especially now with the returning President-elect).
🚀 Why Does the Santa Rally Happen?
1️⃣ Holiday Cheer : Investors, like everyone else, might be more optimistic during the holidays, leading to increased buying momentum. After all, not many things can say “joy to the world” like a bullish portfolio.
2️⃣ Tax-Loss Harvesting : Fund managers sell off losing positions in early December to offset gains for tax purposes. By the end of the month, they’re reinvesting, potentially pushing prices higher.
3️⃣ Low Liquidity : With many big players sipping mezcal espresso martinis on the Amalfi coast, trading volumes drop. Lower liquidity can amplify price movements, making small buying pressure feel like a full-blown rally.
4️⃣ New Year Optimism : Who doesn’t love a fresh start? Many traders sign off for the quarter on a positive, upbeat note and begin setting up positions for the year ahead, adding to upward swings.
⛄️ The Myth-Busting Clause
While these factors seem plausible, not every Santa Rally is a blockbuster. For example, in years of significant economic uncertainty or bearish sentiment, the holiday spirit alone isn’t enough to lift the market.
🌟 How to Trade the Santa Rally (Without Getting Grinched)
1️⃣ Set Realistic Expectations : Don’t expect a moonshot. The Santa Rally is more of a sleigh ride than a rocket launch. Focus on small, tactical trades instead of betting the farm on a rally (and yes, crypto included).
2️⃣ Watch Key Sectors : Historically, consumer discretionary and tech stocks often perform well during this period. Consider these areas, but always do your due diligence.
3️⃣ Manage Your Risk : With low liquidity, volatility can spike unexpectedly. Tighten your stop-losses and avoid overleveraging — Santa doesn’t cover margin calls.
4️⃣ Keep an Eye on Macro Events : Is the Fed hinting at rate cuts (hint: yes it is )? Is inflation stealing the spotlight (hint: yes it is )? These can overshadow any seasonal trends.
☄️ Crypto and Forex: Does Santa Visit Here Too?
The Santa Rally isn’t exclusive to stocks. Forex markets can also see year-end movements as hedge funds, banks and other institutional traders close out currency positions.
Meanwhile, traders in the crypto market have gotten used to living in heightened volatility not just during the holidays but at any time of the year. More recently, Donald Trump’s win was a major catalyst for an absolute beast of an updraft.
🎁 Closing Thoughts: Naughty or Nice?
The Santa Rally is a fascinating mix of tradition, psychology, and market mechanics. While it’s fun to believe in a market jolly, it’s better to stay prepared for anything out of the ordinary.
So, are you betting on a rally this year, or are you staying on the sidelines? Let’s discuss — drop your thoughts in the comments below and tell us how you’re planning to trade the year-end rush! 🎅📈

In recent days, financial markets have experienced a notable influx of capital. According to a report by Bank of America, capital flows amounted to $8.2 billion into equities, $4.9 billion into bonds, and $3.0 billion into cryptocurrencies. This marks the largest four-week inflow into cryptocurrencies, totaling $11.0 billion.
Capital inflows into U.S. equities continued for the ninth consecutive week, totaling $8.2 billion. Additionally, a $4.6 billion investment in small-cap U.S. stocks pushed the 2024 inflows to record highs.
Over the 12 months ending in November, an average of 186,000 new jobs were created each month. On a monthly basis, the highest job growth was observed in healthcare, leisure, and government sectors. Employment in the transportation equipment manufacturing sector also saw a boost following the resolution of labor strikes.
Recent economic data continues to highlight contractionary pressures and their effects on the U.S. economy. At first glance, November’s NFP employment report indicates a resilient and strong labor market, with the U.S. economy adding approximately 227,000 jobs. This growth was largely due to the recovery of jobs lost to recent hurricanes in the Southeast and the resolution of Boeing labor strikes, both of which had reduced employment figures in October. The October report was also revised upward to 36,000 jobs.
Unemployment rose to 4.2%, while labor force participation declined. Despite this, unemployment remains relatively low, though it may rise in the coming months if contractionary pressures persist.
This week, major events in global central bank policies are expected to take place. Dubbed by some as the “central banks’ decisive week,” it begins with the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) decision. Key U.S. economic data, particularly the Consumer Price Index (CPI), will play a pivotal role in shaping Federal Reserve policies.
Investors are primarily focused on inflation data. The November CPI report is set to be released on Wednesday, followed by the PPI report on Thursday. These figures will serve as a precursor to the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision next week.
Projections indicate that annual CPI may rise from 2.6% to 2.7%, while core CPI is expected to remain steady at 3.3%. If no stronger-than-expected data emerges, the Federal Reserve is likely to lean toward reducing interest rates, with the possibility of halting monetary easing in the January meeting.
The December 2024 global economic outlook report by Fitch highlights rising inflation risks in the U.S., driven by stronger-than-expected consumer spending, upcoming tariff increases that raise import prices, and slowed labor force growth due to reduced net migration.
Fitch forecasts that global growth will decline to 2.6% in 2025, a figure largely unchanged from its September report. However, this global stability masks significant shifts in the economic growth forecasts of major countries. U.S. economic growth for 2025 has been revised up by 0.5% to 2.1%, while the Eurozone’s growth forecast has been reduced by 0.3% to 1.2%. Similarly, China’s growth forecast for 2025 has been lowered by 0.2% to 4.3%.
The persistent inflationary trends observed in recent months are unlikely to change significantly with the November CPI report. The CPI data, due on Wednesday, is one of the final and most important indicators ahead of the December 18 Federal Reserve meeting. It may influence FOMC members’ decisions on whether to reduce or halt interest rate cuts.
Currently, there is a strong probability of a 25-basis-point cut in the upcoming meeting.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump, the U.S. President-elect, stated in an interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press” that he has no plans to request the resignation of Jerome Powell, the Federal Reserve Chairman. Trump emphasized that he does not intend to replace Powell and will continue to work with him.
In recent years, financial and tech markets have witnessed remarkable shifts. One such change is the shift in focus from semiconductor companies to AI-related software firms. After a significant rally in semiconductor stocks like NVIDIA and AMD, market enthusiasm has now shifted toward software companies such as Snowflake and Palantir. This reflects a growing realization that AI’s true potential lies in its applications across industries, rather than solely in the hardware enabling it.
Semiconductor firms were the initial beneficiaries of this AI boom, but the market is now gravitating toward companies implementing AI in practical and operational ways.
