About ATOM
Cosmos is a proof-of-stake ‘layer-0’ blockchain with the purpose of bringing different cryptocurrencies together. Known on the block as the “internet of blockchains”, it aims to provide an interoperable network where wildly different cryptocurrencies can get to know each other, using Cosmos’ open-sourced tools to streamline transactions between separate chains.
