This week marks an important addition to TradingView’s News Flow — Dow Jones Newswires. While we offer more than 100 news providers on TradingView, users now have access to one of the preeminent wires, offering Dow Jones Equity Trader, Dow Jones Commodity Trader and Dow Jones Global News Select.
For users who might not be familiar with Dow Jones Newswires, a quick history lesson.
The company was founded by three economic reporters in 1882, back when “newswires” were delivered literally via electric wire — the telegraph. Since then, Dow Jones remains one of the staples of economic information in the United States and beyond with the accumulated experience of more than a century.
That’s the foundation laid by Charles Dow, Edward Jones, and Charles Bergstresser.
Alongside these greats, we have another integration from the turn of the century, 1889 to be exact, which today is one of the most well known publications in our industry. The Wall Street Journal will now be officially available via TradingView. We believe our users will benefit greatly from reading the steadfast reporting of some of the greatest known financial writers.
In addition to these major wires, as well as the storied brand of the Wall Street Journal, we also have the great benefit of providing the content from Barron’s, founded in 1921 by one of the fathers of economic journalism Clarence Barron.
