To help you make your strategy testing faster and more convenient, we’ve added more ways to select your replay starting point in the Bar Replay.
There are now two time selection modes available on the Replay’s panel:
- selecting a bar on the chart
- selecting a specific date
Simply open the Replay timing menu and select the necessary option.
With the Select date… option, you can immediately make any bar in the available history the starting point of the replay without manually moving the chart. Activate this option and select a date and time in the calendar. Then, confirm your choice and the Bar Replay will automatically move to the bar closest to the selected date, ready to start.
You can also go directly to the first bar of the available history using the Select the first available day button. Please note that the amount of historical data in the Bar Replay may vary depending on the selected symbol, chart interval, and your TradingView subscription.
You can still select the replay starting point manually on the chart. To do this, activate the Select bar option, move the cursor over the chart, and click on any bar from which you want to start the simulation.
