Fiat currencies are worth less than dog shit. They have 0 intrinsic value. Their printing costs near 0. Global debt to GDP has grown so much that only by printing money it can be 'paid back' (around 300-400%).
The new generation wants nothing to do with gold. The ones that hold it are central banks and gold bugs. The era of the Internet will not care about some shiny metal, but it will care about an immutable ledger that anyone can trust by verifying it himself.
I've said it many times, I will say it again. When fiat collapses and Bitcoin naturally succeeds, its dollar value will be meaningless. These are just some short term targets in the accumulation game. It is all about accumulation. Getting as many bitcoins as possible before faith in the faith based currencies collapse.
