Can't believe it took me this long to realize I should buy VGLT

Long
NASDAQ:VGLT   Vanguard Long-Term Treasury ETF
Earlier this year, investment bank JP Morgan smashed estimates because it had bought a bunch of long-term bond funds ahead of last year's interest rate cuts, and the funds increased in price accordingly. (When rates go down, long-term bond prices go up.) I've been expecting futures markets to start forecasting an interest rate cut, as they did today, but it didn't even occur to me to make the same play as JP Morgan and buy long-term bond funds. D'oh. The expected rate cut is largely already priced in, but I bought a couple shares after market, and I'll add more on the dips.
Comment:
This is up today despite having gone ex-dividend, which is a pretty bullish sign.
Comment:
This turned out to be an extremely good play.
