MQP 20A WORK UP NOTES

Long
FX:XAUUSD   Gold Spot / U.S. Dollar
HEADER - I am still on 19A . These charts need to be saved for later bc they are 3-min and 6-min charts.

SUMMARY - Can't see 1820 breaking by 5/12-13 (next Thursday and Friday). These are notes I need later if 1820 hold end of next week.

DETAILS - This is worst-case bull scenario, meaning 1820 hold for next week and new all time high end of May.

Notes:

1. if you are reading this, we are still on for next week's short...
2. if it is going to give us an opportunity.
3. it can also just drag down like last week and not give us that entry
4. this means that if it does give us the 1920 short entry on 5/10-5/11,
5. that the floor would be 1820
6. in the slide gradually and relentlessly scenario, the floor would still be 1780
Comment:
Note to self, none of 3 fractals would break 1820, on some what weaker volume trends.

5.42 PM ET: After reviewing all the combinations, these are my thoughts.

1. I'm convinced 20A is true WITHOUT 1820 REQUIREMENT, closer to 1760.
2. So that means 19A is true until it is not.
3. That just means that while I expect the floor to be 1820, it can be 1780, and that would be fine.
4. So strategy does not change. Short 5.10 to 5.11, close 5.12 to 5.13.
5. Entry for 20A is same as 19A exit.
6. How do you know when it's done? You don't.
7. Odds favor low being 5.13 FRIDAY 3 AM.
8. 300 pts swing from bottom.
9. Whether 1780 or 1840, it's 300 swing
Comment:
saturday 5/7 12:25 PM ET

1. 19A is closed, whether or not it continues to play
2. my focus is all on on 20A (long entry)
3. there's 15 trading days to the top of a 300 swing
4. I can't justify a short in this situation
