EURUSD - SHORT: Trade Recap, 12/09/2024Bias Analysis: Major daily swing was not yet in EPD and with consecutive bearish day within a trend lower and a previous daily close with a large wick to the upside the narrative was short. Trade was within 1H range to the downside and at 1H EPD. Grade: Valid What I did well or could've done better - Followed the plan, observed both scenario's (long and short) and executed in line with my plan without hesitation. - I should've however, stuck to the 4H FVG which was more refined instead of opting for the 1H FVG which provided a larger area for my criteria to be met. If I had stuck to the 4H, the HTF criteria would not have been met as price invalidated this before execution.

XRP - High Timeframe Analysis - SHORT TRADE SETUPDISCLAIMER: This is not trade advice, this is for educational and entertainment purposes only. Trading involves real risk. Do your own due diligence. Utilizing my 12 Month - 2 Week - 12 Hour Mult-Timeframe approach, I have identified XRP as a market that I would consider shorting IF price action satisfies my rules for entry. The 2023 candle traded up into the 2022 high and failed to close beyond it. For this reason, I have a bearish bias down to the 2023 lows. XRP intermediate timeframe (2 week) is currently delivering price bearishly, and is currently in a intermediate timeframe bearish orderblock, which is a point of interest for me to look for entries. For this reason, I am satisfied taking an entry on the 12 hour timeframe if we get one of the following entries: Bearish change-in-state-of-delivery (CISD), 18 Period MA Entry, 10h8c MAC w/ Acc/Dis confirmation. I note that if price trades up into some of the intermediate term swing highs that I would consider shorting there as well, in the event that price trades through the intermediate timeframe bearish orderblock. EU: No narrative setup was identified due to the failure of the 15m entry to bounce twice and form a double top before the price decline. GU: A super clean setup was identified. Price bounced on the previous day's high and formed a double top entry on the 15m timeframe. GJ: A super clean setup was identified. Price bounced on the previous day's high and formed a tiny double top entry on the 15m timeframe. EJ: A super clean setup was identified. Price bounced on the previous day's high and formed a tiny double top entry on the 15m timeframe.

USDJPY - SHORT: Trade Recap 10/09/2024Bias Analysis: Price was within EPD of the 1H range and after an initial sell off on Monday we saw a pullback over the course of Asian session on Tuesday and protraction into the 15M OB at London Killzone open which satisfied trade parameters before entry confirmation was achieved. Grade: High Probability What I did well or could've done better: - Clear with trade parameters as per my plan. - Stops were well protected above OB and 79% level. - Was too restrictive on parameters for GJ short which resulted in a missed trade. I need to align my killzone forecasts with what criteria meets my plan instead of looking for the perfect entry.
