ETH 2.0 Merge Upgrade Detailed and Release DataHello all traders and investors.
according to go approch ETH 2.0 Merge upgrade
Today i decide to explain more about that and tell you more
about wahts going to happen.
I try to explain as simple as possible
Whithout killing time lets go...
What is The Merge?
The Merge represents the joining of the existing execution layer of Ethereum (the Mainnet we use today)
with its new proof-of-stake consensus layer, the Beacon Chain.
It eliminates the need for energy-intensive mining and instead secures the network using staked ETH.
A truly exciting step in realizing the Ethereum vision – more scalability, security, and sustainability.
It's important to remember that initially, the Beacon Chain shipped separately from Mainnet.
Ethereum Mainnet - with all it's accounts, balances, smart contracts, and blockchain state - continues to be secured
by proof-of-work, even while the Beacon Chain runs in parallel using proof-of-stake.
The approaching Merge is when these two systems finally come together, and proof-of-work is replaced permanently by proof-of-stake.
Merging with Mainnet
Since genesis, proof-of-work has secured Mainnet.
This is the Ethereum blockchain we're all used to—it contains every transaction, smart contract, and balance since it began in July 2015.
Throughout Ethereum's history, developers have been hard at work preparing for an eventual transition away from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake.
On December 1, 2020, the Beacon Chain was created, which has since existed as a separate blockchain to Mainnet, running in parallel.
The Beacon Chain has not been processing Mainnet transactions.
Instead, it has been reaching consensus on its own state by agreeing on active validators and their account balances.
After extensive testing, the Beacon Chain's time to reach consensus on more is rapidly approaching.
After The Merge, the Beacon Chain will be the consensus engine for all network data, including execution layer transactions and account balances.
The Merge represents the official switch to using the Beacon Chain as the engine of block production.
Mining will no longer be the means of producing valid blocks.
Instead, the proof-of-stake validators assume this role and will be responsible for processing the validity of all transactions and proposing blocks.
No history is lost. As Mainnet gets merged with the Beacon Chain, it will also merge the entire transactional history of Ethereum.
You don't need to do anything. Your funds are safe.
What do I need to do to get ready?
You do not need to do anything to protect your funds entering The Merge.
As a user or holder of ETH or any other digital asset on Ethereum, as well as non-node-operating stakers,
you do not need to do anything with your funds or wallet before The Merge.
Despite swapping out proof-of-work, the entire history of Ethereum since genesis remains intact and unaltered after the transition to proof-of-stake.
Any funds held in your wallet before The Merge will still be accessible after The Merge. No action is required to upgrade on your part.
Take away from scammers after the Merge:
As we approach The Merge of Ethereum Mainnet, you should be on high alert for scams trying to take advantage of users during this transition.
Do not send your ETH anywhere in an attempt to "upgrade to ETH2."
There is no "ETH2" token, and there is nothing more you need to do for your funds to remain safe.
Ethereum Merge Date
The Ethereum merge date and transition to proof-of-stake is expected to take place on September 19, 2022.
We have some Testnet examination before Merge.
I list them for you below:
- Goerli/Prater client releases 27th or 28th of July.
- Announce 28th/29th.
- Prater Bellatrix on the 8th of August
- Goerli Merge on the 11th.
- ACD 18th August plan mainnet Merge:
- Bellatrix early september;
Merge two weeks later (week of Sept 19th).

Technical Analysis
Shooting Star Candlestick
What is the Shooting Star Pattern?
1. A shooting star is a type of candlestick pattern which forms when the price of the security opens, rises significantly, but then closes near the open price.
2. The distance between the highest price of the day and the opening price should be more than twice as large as the shooting star’s body.
What does Shooting Star tells you?
1. Shooting stars signals a potential downside reversal and is most effective when it forms after 2-3 consecutive rising candles having higher highs.
2. A shooting star opens and rises strongly during the trading session, showing the same buying pressure that is seen over the last trading sessions.
3. At the end of the trading session, the sellers push the price down near the open.
4. This shows that the buyers have lost control by the end of the day, and the sellers have taken over.
5. The long upper shadow indicates that the buyers are losing position as the price drops back to the open.
6. The candle after the shooting star gaps down and then moves lower on heavy volume.
7. This candle helps in confirming the price reversal and indicates that the price will continue to fall.
Trading Scenario
1. Trade Entry: Before you enter a shooting star trade, you should confirm that the prior trend is an active bullish trend.
2. Stop Loss: You should always try to use a stop-loss order when trading the shooting star candle pattern.
3. Taking Profits: The price target for this trade should be equal to the size of the shooting star pattern.
Limitations of Shooting Star
1. One should not only rely on a candle pattern like in a shooting star for making trading decisions.
2. This is why confirmation is required, one can confirm by the next candle or other technical analysis indicators.
3. One should also use stop losses when using candlesticks to control the losses.
4. A candlestick pattern is more significant when it occurs near an important level signaled by other forms of technical analysis.
Build a Trading System in 6 Steps✅ Step 1: Time Frame
The first thing you need to decide when creating your system is what kind of trader you are.
Are you a day trader or a swing trader?
Do you like looking at charts every day, every week, every month, or even every year? How long do you want to hold on to your positions?
This will help determine which time frame you will use to trade. Even though you will still look at multiple time frames, this will be the main time frame you will use when looking for a trade signal.
✅ Step 2: Find indicators that help identify a new trend.
Since one of our goals is to identify trends as early as possible, we should use indicators that can accomplish this.
Moving averages are one of the most popular indicators that traders use to help them identify a trend.
Specifically, they will use two moving averages (one slow and one fast) and wait until the fast one crosses over or under the slow one.
This is the basis for what’s known as a “moving average crossover” system.
In its simplest form, moving average crossovers are the fastest ways to identify new trends. It is also the easiest way to spot a new trend.
Of course, there are many other ways traders spot trends, but moving averages are one of the easiest to use.
✅ Step 3: Find indicators that help CONFIRM the trend.
Our second goal for our system is to have the ability to avoid whipsaws, meaning that we don’t want to be caught in a “false” trend.
The way we do this is by making sure that when we see a signal for a new trend, we can confirm it by using other indicators.
There are many good technical indicators for confirming trends like MACD, Stochastic, and RSI.
As you become more familiar with various indicators, you will find ones that you prefer over others and can incorporate those into your system.
✅ Step 4: Define Your Risk
When developing your trading system, it is very important that you define how much you are willing to lose on each trade.
Not many people like to talk about losing, but in actuality, a good trader thinks about what she or he could potentially lose BEFORE thinking about how much she or he can win.
The amount you are willing to lose will be different than everyone else.
You have to decide how much room is enough to give your trade some breathing space, but at the same time, not risk too much on one trade.
Money management plays a big role in how much you should risk in a single trade.
✅ Step 5: Define Entries & Exits
Once you define how much you are willing to lose on a trade, your next step is to find out where you will enter and exit a trade in order to get the most profit.
☀️ Entries
Some people like to enter as soon as all of their indicators match up and give a good signal, even if the candle hasn’t closed. Others like to wait until the close of the candle.
For example, in the chart below, entry was when the candle closed above the resistance line.
☀️ Exits
For exits, you have a few different options.
One way is to trail your stop, meaning that if the price moves in your favor by ‘X’ amount, you move your stop by ‘X’ amount.
Another way to exit is to have a set target, and exit when the price hits that target. How you calculate your target is up to you. For example, some traders choose support and resistance levels as their targets.
In the chart above, the exit is set at a specific price that is below the resistance zone.
However you decide to calculate your target, just make sure you stick with it. Never exit early no matter what happens.
Stick to your trading system!
After all, YOU developed it!
One more way you can exit is to have a set of criteria that, when met, would signal you to exit.
For example, you could make it a rule that if your indicators happen to reverse to a certain level, you would then exit out of the trade.
✅ Step 6: Write down your system rules and FOLLOW IT!
This is the most important step in creating your trading system. You MUST write your trading system rules down and ALWAYS follow them.
Discipline is one of the most important characteristics a trader must have, so you must always remember to stick to your system!
No system will ever work for you if you don’t stick to the rules, so remember to be disciplined.
Oh yeah, did I mention you should ALWAYS stick to your rules?
✅ How to Test Your Trading System
The fastest way to test your system is to find a charting software package where you can go back in time and move the chart forward one candle at a time.
When you move your chart forward one candle at a time, you can follow your trading system rules and take your trades accordingly.
Record your trading record, and BE HONEST with yourself!
Record your wins, losses, average win, and average loss. If you are happy with your results then you can go on to the next stage of testing: trading live on a demo account.
Trade your new system live on a demo account for at least two months.
This will give you a feel for how you can trade your system when the market is moving. Trust us, it is very different trading live than when you’re backtesting.
After two months of trading live on a demo account, you will see if your system can truly stand its ground in the market.
If you are still getting good results, then you can choose to trade your system live on a REAL account.
At this point, you should feel very confident with your trading system and feel comfortable taking trades with no hesitation.

Pro Traders Take Profits on EarningsWhat happened today on the earnings announcement by PEP? Pro traders took profits against the retail crowd's buying on the news headlines that suggested an earnings "beat" for Q2. The retail buying causes the gap up at open, which is a prime cue to take profits on swing trades.
This was what we call a pre-earnings run. The earnings results don't matter as much as the technical setup a few weeks ahead of the earnings release. Swing trades were initiated at the reversal from the support at 155, confirmed by price and volume patterns at that time.
Now, with resistance overhead, where the initial target for this earnings play was, and the retail crowd causing a gap up at open on the earnings announcement, this is where professional short-term traders close long positions. This should not be construed as a good opportunity to short swing-style, however. It is an example of the execution of a long swing-style earnings strategy.
This is an example of TechniTrader's Relational Technical Analysis techniques for planning better trades.

EURUSD.... SEE WHY MANY PEOPLE LOST THIS TRADE... AVOID ITHello Traders,
So today I am doing a trade recap on a trade I lost due to lack of detail. Note, in trading, after knowing how trading works, every thing comes down to the level of attention/detail you give to your chart.
Detail, detail, detail... never forget.
I have labelled the chart accordingly so your understanding can be seamless. But if you still need clarity let me know.
I use my weekend to analyse why my trade won or lost. And this is an approach to trading that people should undertake. This should come after journaling your trade.
The thing is, you will make mistakes, you will not see everything (detail) but continue. Reduce the number of pairs you trade, reduce the indicators, reduce the trendlines and every other thing... Your chart should be clear and easy on the eyes. I only look at 10 markets (the 7 majors and AUDNZD, CADCHF & EURGBP). I add the 3 crosses only because I want to have alternative for all the currencies excluding JPY. I don't use indicators (not saying it is bad but reduce it), I don't use trendline (because price is moves horizontally - unpopular opinion).
When you have just a few pairs, you are able to understand the moves better and you can free your brain from analysing so many pairs. Just imagine using indicators, lines upon lines, and the market changes form... now you need to start all over again your analysis on all your multiple markets, looking at so many things. Trust me, you are bound to miss the obvious details not to talk of the hidden ones and its a lot of work. I am sure you must have experienced it.
I am still very bullish on EURUSD and right now, I am not looking for an entry, I am waiting for a break of the 4H high then I will look for an entry which I will share on my page.
If you would like to see it, all you need to do is click on follow.
I will also link my previous analysis on EURUSD, AUDNZD, USDJPY
Stay tuned for more.

Harmonic Symbiosis of Technicals and Fundamentals The eyes are the mirror of the soul and reflect everything that seems to be hidden. Is the same true about charts? Absolutely. After successful week on EUR/USD, we've been getting a lot of questions on how we "read the charts". Well, buckle up :)
There are people who trade purely on fundamentals or technicals. It's been an ongoing battle for quite a while. This whole situations reminds me of two armies that are about to collide holding flags. One side has a duck, the other has the inverted version of the same flag that looks like a rabbit.
The reality about markets is.. one doesn't go without another. Moreover, it is all imprinted in what we perceive as a chart. If will for June section of the EUR/USD chart, we can note that the major news release are coincidental with the larger trends; however, they're expected through technicals as well.
Let's consider the range in the chart above, as we were approaching the upper side, some important news were released keeping it from breaking upwards. When the range slightly broke the lower boundary and wiped off some long positions, we saw a positive CPI m/m data released.
This goes all the way around as well, when the price reached 1.04 European Central Bank made an effort to maintain the price at that level and recover, even though there were no actual economical drivers for that. The retailers, obviously, supported this process as they saw a quite strong and familiar patter of "triple bottom".
This is not some theory or conspiracies, this is just how economy works through oscillations. Top successful traders call it "feeling the market" and it mostly comes from experience, but once you see it, you can't see it.
I hope this helps and you have a whole weekend ahead to let it sink in :)
All the best to the entire TradingView community!
The Truth Behind Why Do People Trade?Do you ever wonder why some people are so fearless when it comes to trading? It is not every day that you see someone trade with the same level of confidence and unbridled optimism as do traders. Whether you like it or not, the markets always have a presence in our lives. Although most of us try to avoid them, there are times when we end up entering them just for a few trades. After all, who would say no to free money? The real question here is why some people are so bold in their trading activities? Well, there are many factors that go into this unique behavior and answer lies within. Even though trading can be risky if you don’t know what you’re doing or how markets move, some people are willing to take those risks while others prefer playing it safe by not even touching anything financial related until they're absolutely sure about their long-term goals in life. These two different extremes are what drive every person’s need to trade as much as possible until they find the perfect balance. In this article, we will explore these different reasons that explain why individuals.
KEY TAKEAWAYS
Trading is your passion
You can’t resist that free money
You need to earn more money before retiring
You want to protect yourself from market shocks
You want to spend your savings
Trading Is Your Passion
Let’s face it, most of us are born with a passion for something. Whether it is music, sports, or even trading, you were born with a unique interest that you can’t help but put your heart and soul into. People with this passion may not even know what they want to do with their lives. As they get older, they begin to realize more and more about how the world works. Trading is one of those things that people never know about until they get involved with it. No matter where you are in the world, you can find a community of traders who share your passion. Trading allows you to make money while helping others achieve their financial goals. There are many trading pairs that people can take advantage of. If you are passionate about trading, this is a great way to make a living.
You Can’t Resist That Free Money
We all know the feeling. You are browsing your favorite crypto website when you see a banner ad that promises the best Bitcoin advice ever. You go to the page and find a guy who is talking about how to double your money in months using his proven strategy. He then writes a blog on how to do exactly that. The rest of the website is then filled with articles about how to get rich quick by trading crypto. You read it all and then finally get the nerve to try your hand at this new form of investment. You put in a small sum of money, wait for a price increase, and then sell your coins at a huge profit. A few days later, you are sitting back in your chair scratching your head wondering why you did that. This scenario is pretty common in the cryptocurrency trading world. It doesn’t matter what type of coin you are trading; people don’t mind selling at a loss if it means they can make a profit on the next buy. People who are excited about the potential of the market and can’t resist the free money are more likely to be investing in arbitrage opportunities that exploit these price gaps.
You Need to Earn More Money Before Retiring
Cryptocurrency trading can be very successful, but it’s not for everyone. For example, if you’re planning on retiring in a few years, trading could end up being a huge drain on your finances since there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to retire early. That’s why it’s important to start investing now so that you can earn a decent amount of money before you have to start taking regular retirement payments. This is especially important if you have a high-risk job like working construction or as a truck driver. That way, you can earn enough money to retire without having to work until you’re much older than you would otherwise have to.
You Want to Protect Yourself from Market Shocks
The reason why some people decide to trade is because they believe that this is the only way they can protect themselves from large market shocks. Traders who invest in a certain strategy (such as short-term trading) may not be able to protect themselves from a major market crash. For example, if the market price of Bitcoin crashes and you buy a lot of Bitcoin on the way down, you won’t be able to short sell the same amount of Bitcoin when it goes back up. That’s because you’re already long on the same amount of Bitcoin. If the market crashes and you sell your Bitcoin short, you may end up voiding your short position because of a lack of Bitcoin. If the market price goes back up, you won’t be able to cover the short position and take a loss. That’s why it’s important to protect yourself against large market shocks.
You Want to Spend Your Savings
Some people just love to gamble. They see stocks and futures as a way to win at the casino and forget that they are playing with real people’s money. When you have a lot of money that you can’t really spend on anything, it’s easy to become a gambler. Many people who have a large amount of savings in the bank just don’t know what to do with it. They can’t bring themselves to spend it on something that will only bring them short-term pleasure. That’s why they often end up throwing their money into risky investments that might not pay off for years. Investing your savings in the stock market can bring big returns, but it’s also a high-risk activity. If the market crashes and you lose all your money, you will have no way to spend it on something that you enjoy doing. That’s why it’s important to spend your savings on something that will bring them some long-term value.
Final Words
The stock market is a risky business, and even the experts can’t predict the future. If you want to earn a lot of money, you should be ready to take risks. However, if you carefully investigate different investment opportunities, and do your research, you can protect yourself from losing too much money. When you are trading, you are putting money on the line, so you need to make sure it goes into a profitable investment.
Why doesn't technical analysis "always" work?A technical indicator could give a buy signal for a security with one set of values, and at the same time, could give a sell signal for the same security with a different set of values! How do you trust the indicators then?! Moreover, if a set of values works this time, the same set of values may not work the next time!
Technical analysis uses historical movements of a security to predict a probabilistic future direction or price of the security. By definition, technical analysis is probabilistic and thus its predictions are correct sometimes and go wrong other times. And we are aware of this uncertainty and are perfectly fine with it!. However, it is not possible for an indicator to describe the accuracy of its prediction. In the absence of that, basing our trade calls blindly on such predictions is as good as basing them on coin toss results. This article examines ways to assign an accuracy number to the predictions made.
Given this problem statement, the first thing that comes to our mind is backtesting. The results of backtesting give an indication of how an indicator has fared in the past. It is important to note that backtesting shows different results if applied to different timeframes (between two dates) or with different sets of values based on market behavior of that period. Our goal then is to know which set of values of all possibilities best suits a technical indicator for a given security for the current market conditions.
We all know that the price of a security doesn't move in a straight line! It keeps moving in a wavy pattern making highs (crests) and lows (troughs), both of short and long forms. Not only does the price change, but also the frequency and period (distance between crests and troughs, or swing highs and lows) of the security change on a day to day basis! This dynamic period plays a crucial role in selecting values for indicator parameters. For, e.g., it would be inappropriate to choose a longer length moving average when the security is volatile and making shorter swings. Also, the right set of parameters keep changing for an indicator with ever changing period of the security.
Without going into the complexities of establishing relationships between period and indicator parameters, we could backtest indicators for all possible values to arrive at the best set to use. For simplicity, let us consider a strategy that gives a buy signal if slope of the simple moving average is positive and sell signal if the slope turns negative. All that this takes is a single parameter - length of bars to the past (moving average length). Let us backtest with different lengths of and plot P&L for each with probabilities based on the number of trades won. The length with the best P&L could be considered as the ideal parameter. Note from the chart how this changes over time. Note also that this changes based on backtesting lengths, the chart uses 3-Jan-22 as the start date. (Another Note! Approximate P&L calculations with both long and short, for demonstration purposes only)
In summary, technical analysis methods work well with the right set of parameter values. And choosing the right set still has a lot of uncertainties to it, though the uncertainty could be reduced by backtesting and choosing a better set from time to time.

Moving Average | Two Profitable Ways to Use 📊
Hey traders,
In this post, we will discuss two efficient ways to apply the moving average(s) indicator in your trading.
Please, note that the settings for a moving average depend on many factors and can not be universal. Time frame, your style of trading and many other factors should be taken into consideration when you define the settings.
1️⃣The first very efficient way to apply moving average is to consider that to be a strong support/resistance. Such a method is appropriate for trend-following traders.
A very important condition to note applying MA as the structure is that the market should be trending: it should trade in a bullish or bearish trend, not in sideways.
📍In a bullish trend, a moving average will provide you a relatively safe point for buying the market after a pullback. Quite often after a test of MA, the price tends to bounce all the way up to a current high and even go higher to the next highs.
📍In a bearish trend, a moving average will serve as a strong resistance and quite often will indicate a completion point of a retracement leg after a strong bearish impulse.
2️⃣The second way to apply moving average is to apply a combination of 2 MAs with different settings (one with a bigger and one with a smaller length). Such a method is usually applied by counter-trend traders.
And again, a very important condition to note, is that if you want to apply this method efficiently, remember that the market must be trending, it should be bullish or bearish.
Your task will be to track an intersection of two MAs.
📍In a bullish trend, a crossing of two moving averages with a high probability will indicate a trend violation and initiation of a new bearish trend.
Such a signal usually serves as a trigger to open a short position.
📍In a bearish trend, a crossing of two moving averages will signify a violation of a bearish trend and the start of a new bullish trend.
The intersection by itself will be a signal to open a long position.
Your task as a trader is to find the most accurate inputs for MAs. With backtesting and experience, you will find the settings applicable to your trading style.
What indicator do you want to learn in the next post?

Overextended Markets (Overbought And Oversold)1) Bollinger Bands:
Some traders will determine the market as "over-extended"
when the price is piercing above or below the Bollinger bands.
If above then the price is considered overbought and price may start to reverse.
If below then the price is considered oversold and the price may start to reverse.
2) Stochastic RSI:
some traders will determine the market as "over-extended" once the price is over the 70% line or below the 30% line.
The bottom 30% means the price might be oversold and buyers are projected to come in.
When the price is above the 70% line the market is considered overbought and sellers are projected to come in.
3) Supply And demand
When we have 3x continuation patterns in a row DBD or RBR in a row, we can draw a downward or upward aggressive trend line (momentum line).
When this happens, we consider the market overextended and call it the “elastic band effect”.
stretch out an elastic band to the breaking point and let go, the elastic band snaps back at a high-speed force and hurts.
This is the same for trading, When the market is overextended and breaks the downward or upward momentum line, we can assume the market will snap back and remove 2 if not 3 of the opposing zones that gave us the ability to draw the aggressive momentum line.
Buying or selling the pullback into the demand or supply is usually a good call if the criteria are met for a good trade.

Technical Analysis for Risk AnalysisTechnical Analysis should be used for Risk Analysis, not just for deciding if and when to buy whatever it is you want to trade, whether it's stocks, crypto, forex, indexes, ETFs, REITs, mutual funds, etc.
When you know the technical patterns that point to higher risk, aka sellers gaining traction, you can get out of long positions before the retail crowd and its small fund managers react late to earnings reports.
It is NEVER the largest institutions, who we call the Dark Pools, who are selling on earnings announcements. It is ALWAYS the less informed who buy or sell on big news days.
This is what we at TechniTrader call "Relational Technical Analysis"--the application of what we know about the market participant groups to discern who is doing what in the technical patterns of a chart.
For example: UPST was a struggling IPO anyway. The typical IPO top and drop occurred in October-November. 99% of new IPOs do this. Learn to sell at the peak of a speculative new IPO. That means you must learn what speculation looks like in the charts and how to recognize the top developing so you can get out before the drop.
But today's lesson is about the specific set of negative technical patterns developing ahead of Upstart's earnings report yesterday after the market close:
1. A trading range was developing lower highs and lower lows.
2. Compression of price at the low end of the range.
3. Declining Accumulation/Distribution over the sideways action of the trading range.
These are what we at TechniTrader call the "footprints" of controlled rotation out of the stock ahead of the earnings press release date.

What is a Gap in Trading? | Different Types of Gaps Explained 📚
Hey traders,
In this article, we will discuss a very common pattern that is called gap.
In technical analysis, the gap is the difference between the closing price of the previous candlestick and the opening price of the next candlestick.
📈Gap up represents a situation when the price bounces up sharply at the moment of a transition from one candlestick to another. The price gap that appears between them is called gap up.
📉Gap down represents a situation when the price drops sharply at the moment of a transition from one candlestick to another, the price gap between the closing price of the previous candle and the opening price of the next candle is called a gap down.
From my experience, I realized that with a high probability the gap tends to be filled. For that reason, once you see a gap, consider trading opportunities around that.
Depending on the market conditions where the gap appears, there are several types of a gap to know:
1️⃣Common gap appears in a weak, calm market. When the trading volumes are low and the market participants are waiting for some trigger, or the asset reached a fair value price.
2️⃣Breakaway gap appears in a situation when the price suddenly breaks a structure (support or resistance) in a form of a gap.
Such a gap usually confirms a structure breakout.
3️⃣Runaway gap usually appears when the market is growing or falling sharply. It signifies the dominance of buyers/sellers and highly probable continuation. Usually, such gaps are not filled.
4️⃣Exhaustion gap is, in contrast, appears around major key levels and signifies a highly probable reversal. The exhaustion gap is usually confirmed by a consequent strong opposite movement that fills the gap.
Learn to recognize gaps on a chart and learn to interpret them. It will increase the accuracy of your technical analysis.
